  1. In terms of total quota per nation, I think so. There might also be individual spots again like last time, for a small number of athletes from nations outside of the top-X, which are handed out based on a ranking that's not publicly available (the IBU Qualifying Points List).
  2. Aquamarijn sounded so Dutch, but apparently not. My surprise was fairly big when seeing Yvonne Losos de Muniz - who really looks as Caucasian as people can look - was born in Nigeria It's just not what I expected, but interesting
  3. I just wanted to avoid you or someone realizing a possible mistake later and having to search for where the error was, it was only meant helpful
  4. Just pointing towards the Road to Beijing thing: not sure what the 'rules' for that are on Totallympics, but these are non-Olympic events
  5. Excellent last competition, these were very entertaining world championships
  6. NEVER close the Player early, especially in speed disciplines If you have no time left, just pause for later and then watch it later while making use of the skip 15 seconds button at least
  7. Sweden's Nils van der Poel was a very promising 10k rider 3-4 years ago, but since he won the 10k at the world allround championships in March 2018 he didn't compete in any serious race anymore (he did run a 171km ultramarathon in under 21 hours, it's not like he was lazy ). Today he made his comeback in Inzell.....destroying his 10k PB by nearly 20 seconds to 12:46, only five guys have ever been faster He is back and the 10k keeps on getting more and more interesting!
  8. He ran and won in Vienna today and finished in what was basically a solo 2:11.07, which is both awesome (he was a chain smoker who picked up running 8 years ago and this was only his second marathon) and sad (Futselaar is out already now).
  9. Some track worker entering the course right when James Crawford passes by Luckily it went alright.
  10. That's mostly because the commentator (at least the Dutch one) is there anyway and has nothing else to do Might as well stick around
  11. Oh my, Martin Cater with bib 41 taking the lead Eurosport has already long gone Player-only here
  12. Top-10 very, very, very much counts as having some week/day. Although it's of course not like she is some unknown name for people who follow cross-country skiing.
  13. Ajax and Netherlands attacker Quincy Promes has been arrested this morning and is being suspected of stabbing a family member resulting in severe knee damage (and the only reason it wasn't worse is because other people present intervened), which could lead to a 4-year prison sentence Obviously it's way too early to actually expect any prison sentence, after all he only got arrested today and the "you're going away for a long time" line upon arrest only works in movies, but still
  14. Crap! I can't even count anymore how many times Clarey seemed on the way to possibly win and then lost it at the bottom
  15. Damn it Paris, so close. Great to see him in this shape again though
  16. Kriechmayr gave it away there, but good thing he stayed upright.
  17. Can you still watch the IBSF streams as well though? Because if having bobsleigh and skeleton on TV means IBSF streams get geoblocked, I really, really hope we will never have live bobsleigh and skeleton World Cups on Dutch TV For someone who often can't watch live, nothing beats a full event being available on YouTube to watch with great commentary and - importantly - no spoilers at all in the video titles and (unlike in luge ) thumbnails.
  18. Uhm, I'm watching a live speed event right now
