Oh and our commentator said the Iranian players had been told to sing the anthem or else their families would be the victims of violence or even torture. Sounds like one of them typical western horror stories about Iran or North Korea?

Ugh, those thousands of morons booing the anthem. I presume Americans, or do Iranians do it as well @MHSN Apologies for the ignorance but you might understand it's all slightly confusing for those not in the Iranian world and culture (for me at least) Anyhow, I don't care which sport and which player or country it is, booing an anthem is not-done.

If they play the way they played against Ecuador in specifically the second half, I have no idea how the Netherlands can avoid losing to Qatar. Not joking, we've had two full rounds of group play and I still have not seen a single team play as awful for a full half as the Dutch second half against Ecuador.

Anamarija Lampic throws away a potential podium on her international biathlon debut Which is not meant negatively, but the opposite: until shot 9, she was well in position for even a win! Sadly shots 9 and 10 were missed, after one miss in the prone shooting which she basically made up entirely on the skis.

I'd honestly doubt that. Even those short highlight videos usually got to 2k views or so. Which is fine for something relatively obscure as the IBU Cup, but long-ass broadcasts...? I don't think a lot of people would go back and watch the whole thing...commentary or not.

As the expert here said "Technically it's a penalty because he wasn't using his arm to support himself yet, but he was very obviously falling and going to use that arm to break his fall and so support himself." In other words, insanely technically speaking, it could be a penalty (since he was like 0,5 seconds away from actually supporting himself on that arm, he hadn't fallen far enough yet), but it's basically nonsense to really give it.
