  1. Damn. The Danish radio just said 80, but that is some hours ago. But of course plenty of comments cannot look past that it's used by Liverpool, so plenty of hate as well.
  2. There was one in the very last match I watched in Aarhus before the corona. Not really sure that I have seen one before, but I never felt uncertain that it would be a free kick in the situation
  3. So apparently European radio will make "You'll never walk alone" an anthem for the people of the health care working against corona. At least 80 different radio broadcasters will play the song simultaneously at 8.45 CET Very symbolic, but I like it.
  4. Idiots exist in all ages
  5. The Danish parliament is set to vote (laws set in place to help the during the situation). However they can only be 7 at a time in the chamber meaning quite a bit of queueing outside the chamber (luckily most understand the distance)
  6. But it is nonetheless pretty interesting numbers when considering the risk.
  7. Meanwhile we're officially at more than 1000 in Denmark. In reality, it is estimated to be at least 10 times higher. The more interesting number is 129 hospitalized. 24 in ICU. The testing is expected to intensify very soon. Meanwhile testing with the drug remdisivir will be tested in Denmark like it is in other countries.
  8. I'm a capitalist, but this really disgusts me! https://www.theverge.com/2020/3/17/21184308/coronavirus-italy-medical-company-threatens-sue-3d-print-valves-treatments
  9. I'm yet to see one. Some people are frustrated that the pharmacies don't have any on stock, even though it is being made very clear that it really doesn't do much to help us.
  10. ASO has now postponed Paris-Roubaix, Flèche Wallonne and Liège-Bastogne-Liège. Guess we could potentially be in for quite and autumn!
  11. Some questioning whether Copenhagen will be able to host. We'll be hosting the grand depart of the Tour de France just 5 days after the match in the round of 16. There'll be a lot of checking the hotels to do.
  12. With every run possibly being the last one, I went for my first 15km about 1½ week before originally planned. Felt really great at a pace just about the 2 hour pace feeling that I could even have kept on. I'm changing my schedule slightly to make room for a two week quarantine or a period of curfew (my 300m to the grocery store won't help much there). If it's more than that, we'll have to see if it works out.
  13. The first test shots has been done in USA as well and many other companies are hoping to start soon. But that's still very early meaning that we'll most likely have nothing before next year (unless some serious corners are cut, and then I would not feel sure about them!). It's good to hear that a lot is happening, but we still have to get through this wave!
  14. I must say that the more I think about it, I hope the Olympics will be postponed. Even if we beat the corona within the next few months, I would think that it would have major impact on the quality when more and more athletes are forced to improvise with lockdowns in force.
  15. Both UK and Sweden are starting to change their responses towards what most other countries do and even Trump seems to be starting to get how serious it is. Let's hope that it's not too late (though I wouldn't mind if people remember their response).
  16. The only cases I've heard of are the worst: A couple of hospitals have had hand sanitizers and masks stolen Most hospitals are now locking most doors and have security personnel stationed by the entrance. I'm really not in favor of death penalty, but believe me... I have thought of that idea in these cases
  17. Americans are hoarding weapons and the dutch are storming to the coffee shops Right @heywoodu?
  18. Well. Less than a month ago it was american politicians calling it a leak from Wuhan biological laboratory. Doesn't help the slightest, but it has been going both ways (even saw the idea of it being american back when it was still pretty much only in China) It's sad that some people use it for political purpose, but some things never change.
  19. Hotel rooms in Copenhagen that were booked by UEFA are free now. Guess that's pretty close to a confirmation?
  20. I've only seen a single comment about some small-scale testing in Hong Kong (I believe) where it was said that some showed 20-30 % decrease in lung capacity. But I think it would be too early to say anything certain. Could be short-term.
  21. If we were to make a list of famous people who has tested positive, it would get very long already
  22. Can't talk about the song or the singing, but personally I like the singing. We're slowly starting in Denmark singing a one of the classic spring songs. So far I've only seen videos with a few singing, but it may grow. We did have something playing a recorded version with a pretty strong speaker in our area meaning that you couldn't really hear anybody sing. But it did get some attention.
  23. Didn't need more. Suspended after the evening session https://www.boxingroadtotokyolondon.org/ioc-boxing-task-force-suspends-european-qualifier-in-london-and-all-remaining-events-until-may?fbclid=IwAR1t0ig5OGP9IkexOoZelyvgrDsKl_9TjCbQpyhssujjaToVGw-1LOTHY68
  24. Let the farce begin. The Danish boxers will go home to Denmark! Hope others will follow and show how irresponsible it has been!
  25. And after the latest press meeting, people start speculating whether we'll see a curfew in a day or two (the minister did mention irresponsible people not taking the situation seriously a couple of times). Not so sure it'll happen but I guess I'll go for a long run tomorrow, just in case it'll be the last for some time
