  2. The minister of health makes it sound like we have not really changed our way of testing. About 600 tests done each day, but new tests are prepared that will add capacity. Slightly surprising news! But we have 62 hospitalized at the moment, 10 are more or less critical.
  3. Oslo University Hospital will be under pressure the next weeks as 1081 employees are quarantined due to eithe contact with an infected or after having been on vacation. 14 have tested positive. No details though. The hospital has about 23.000 employees in total.
  4. The rest of the qualifiers will be behind closed doors.
  5. Can't really say anything but good question! I believe it's only rankings right now and guess they're still hoping to be able to have the worlds.
  6. Sadly it's pretty much all hands on deck to prepare for what is coming. It's simply not set up to test every single person showing symptoms. Hard to say if that has been the right decision (or if it had even been possible in the situation to put up a major testing operation). It is a discussion happening as well to set up some tests to get a beter idea of how many are infected, but I feel unsure that will happen. Fingers crossed that it's nothing bad, @Wumo
  7. North Korea? My experience tells me that Madagascar is the place to go in case of pandemy! But well: , ... Maybe not take over the world, but the same as the last few days (without watching badminton)
  8. Wouldn't it be better if some are infected at an early stage with the least pressure? Then those could be cured when/if shit hits the fan.
  9. UCI has proposed to the IOC to stop the qualification in Mountain Bike, BMX (racing and freestyle) and para-cycling as of march 3rd.

  11. Man. Using the 2019 would be tough for us But I wouldn't be surprised if others will end up doing the same. At least I hope they'll change in case the Olympics are postponed.
  12. These are the golden days of e-sports!
  13. Don't know if I would say ignored. They just have another way of dealing with it. Whether it's the right way is questionable, but we'll see.
  14. Let's not make too much out of that. Did read through the thread. I would still say that everybody should be quarantined to be cautious, but lets not judge them too quickly, just for a bit of coughing. That's afterall not that unusual when doing physical activities (I did at least do it a few times after my run yesterday).
  15. Fingers crossed that you're getting very close to the top, though it is indeed very worrying to hear that it's moving south. The slightly positive is the high amount of recoveries though it's not much of a comfort.
  16. That's numbers comparable to the highs in China
  17. Do you have a source on it? Haven't been able to find anything, but I haven't been watching the last couple of hours of the early session.
  18. UK has a pretty different take on what to do about the virus, but even with that, people who are infected should stay at home, from what I remember. I don't think any of us can say if it's the right or wrong way (can't really say that I'm convinced by their ideas, but I'm not the right one to say anything there). But I strongly agree that it shouldn't have taken place, but that's on the conscience of the BWF (and the other federations who keep going).
  19. Trump is saying that California has done terrific! What will happen to @Olympian1010 now?
  20. Would be strange if they just let people watch knowing that they're infected. If players stay away from the fans they could stay safe, but it's not unusual that they go to the stands to cheer on their teammates. No matter what, I would guess that players should get in a 2 weeks quarantine when they get home.
  21. I guess we're only a couple of days away from once again having more active cases than closed ones.
  22. We've had some great badminton action as well
  23. And BTW. In the future Denmark will mainly be testing people who seem to be in serious conditions or in risk of the same. Therefore the total number of cases in Denmark will most likely be pretty interesting. The critical cases will be the interesting number. Meanwhile we're closing the borders for people without good reason to come in from tomorrow at 12 until easter.
  24. And showcasing the partners. And that poster was so damn basic that you could have explained it to a 10-year old without the poster!
