  1. Never underestimate Harrington!
  2. If another one does so, you may risk ending up with only one player.
  3. Though I do agree that zika seems like the easy way out, I do believe that some of them are actually worried. I believe that it's a matter of how they look at the tournament. Men's golf is already popular in many countries, meaning that they don't have as much to win with the olympic participation as women's golf. What I mean is that it is a tournament that is easier to miss for the best men, who will more or less get the same attention during the majors, while the women will without doubt get more during the Olympics. It's still not positive, but I do actually believe that zika is the reason for at least some players.
  4. That means the 3 best Australians out
  5. Some of these may already been written (haven't looked thoroughly at the others) General - Denmark will win more medals than the other Nordic countries (individually) (Finland, Norway, Iceland and Sweden) Cycling - road - Less than half the riders will finish either the men's or women's road race Football - At least 4 matches will be decided in a penalty shootout Golf - A medalist in either the men's tournament will have a round above par - USA will win a medal in both the men's and women's tournament
  6. Yes I am, and both the comments on The 3rd team and former danish elite ref, Kenn Hansen seem to agree
  7. France did the same with Bourgain in 2012 where he dropped out after a couple of kms.
  8. You fought well, but I guess it's goodbye...
  9. Though I've personally wondered about it as well, I just think it's pretty serious, when almost 250 experts on health is worried. I can't help but being a bit myself. But it does seem a bit weird that the experts aren't considering the amount of mosquitos during august and where the zika problems are worst.
  10. He has 2 wins and another 3 top 5 places this year (including tied 5th at US Open)
  11. Well. He is no. 11 on the World Rankings.
  12. Branden Grace is next to withdraw, meaning that the 3 best south african golfers will not go. Graeme McDowell as well. The only positive thing is that it may give 2 of the good old players a chance as Padraig Harrington is next in line for Ireland and Retief Goosen isn't that far away for South Africa

  14. I have my doubts about leave would win in any other country. GB has always been way more EU sceptical than other countries.
  15. I guarantee you that we will not see a referendum in Denmark (at least in the near future). Only 2 parties want one (The national-conservative populist Danish Folkparty and our pseudo-communist the Unity list). Even though DF is pretty big they will not even get close to a majority. And the other parties wouldn't really have anything to win by suddenly supporting a referendum.
  16. Farage? Really? What would he do as a PM now that UK won't have the EU to blame anymore. I am sadly also guessing for Johnson, but he is still a pretty controversial guy. But it will surely be interesting to see how Scotland (and even Northern Ireland) will react to this. Both show a majority for staying in the EU, and it doesn't seem too unlikely that at least Scotland will try to get another referendum, where leaving EU might be enough for it to tip. And when? It will most likely take at least 2 years and the official work will only begin with the new PM. I'm guessing 2020, but it's not much of a qualified guess.
  17. It does indeed sadly look like a win for leave
  18. I am well aware of that, but a Crazy person could be behind it as well.
  19. It's a sad situation, but not necessary terrorism.
  20. Denmark will be represented by Jakob Fuglsang, Chris Anker Sørensen and Christoffer Juul Jensen. It is yet to be decided who will take our place in the Time trial.
