  1. Remind me, how are the Danes doing right now on elite level?
  2. Not really well-known, but it's the Danish bid for the foreign-language movie at the Oscars. It's the first movie from the director but Jacob Cedergren who is the main character is pretty well known.
  3. And with the only 3rd Danish player ever and of course the Bear as captain of the European Team. Sadly the US team should be seen as pretty big favourites, but you never know!
  4. Meanwhile it should also be mentioned that Oliver Fischer posted the first 59-round ever at the European Tour. Only 3 times a better score has been posted on a major golf tour (58's on the Japan Tour, the Web.com tour and the PGA Tour)
  5. Isn't it still just on the discussion stage what's gonna happen in the future?
  6. Pretty bad job by the producers. Pretty much no pictures of the defending champions...
  7. Fahlin is dropped! She is damn frustrated and Wiggle is now down to 4 riders. I doubt that will work out for them, but you never know
  8. Can Wiggle keep it up? An extremely strong start, but down one rider pretty early. Will be interesting.
  9. It sure is, but the combination of unicorn and candy made me think of it
  10. The problem with the folkish song is that I was once told that it's actually not a Danish song, but I haven't been able to find any info about it
  11. The preselection is done and now we're down to 14 songs from 11 artists. The band that I wanted to select for the annual contest is still in the game, but so are some very historical Danish bands with both some of the greates rock bands, some folkish style, a bit of jazzy style music and a bit more pop-like music. Will be tough as always, but things have been harder
  12. That scene reminded me of Monty Python's sketch with the dirty Hungarian phrasebook
  13. Well. It's tradition and a rather major thing for the parliament (or at least some of the members). English could even (theoretically) be on the way out as it's nominated as official language by Gbr. I remember when one of our national populist members of the parliament complained about our prime minister decided to speak English. Personally I don't really care. The interpreters are great meaning that it's not really a problem.
