  1. They're putting Slovakia under pressure!
  2. How about The Simpsons' version of The Raven?

  4. I'm not seeing anything on the redbull.tv website, but they have been doing some advertising. I just hope they'll show more than just the elite races. Especially the relay tomorrow and the Under 23 races.
  5. There are 2 possible magical reasons... 1: The federation is told by UEFA that if they don't send their "real" team up against Wales, it's a ban. 2: The players union suddenly decide to say fine, we'll go with your temporary deal. As the federation have said that there are no more negotiations this week, I'm not even sure the 2nd would do.
  6. Very interesting. We'll have the European Champions and silver winners in the playoffs while semi finalists Austria are eliminated
  7. Well. If not in Slovakia then at home in Aarhus against Wales sunday (if they don't miraculously get to a deal)
  8. Yup. But they are on their way. Temporary coach is 1992 hero John "Faxe" Jensen The confirmed players right now are 12 from 3rd tier clubs and 2 from the 4th tier, while it does also seem like some futsal players are going (about half the latest squad) I guess there's one positive thing about this. We have a good chance to take away the flag of Nazi Germany from our Wikipedia page (Biggest defeat) The attitudes towards the players and coaches differs quite a lot. To some people they are heroes, saving the National team while the greedy top players are destroying it. Others call them strikebreakers and traitors and hope that they will be injured (I'm sure that if I decided to look for it, some would even say killed) or never have their carreers go anywhere and some are even talking about blocking their way to the match against Wales sunday.- I honestly can't quite decide whether I should laugh or cry
  9. The players have made a last, desperate attempt to make a temporary deal that will let them play. Meanwhile it has been announced that a squad has been formed. There are different rumours about who the players are, even that it will mainly consist of players from our national futsal team
  10. It's very much about commercial interests where the National federation want to be able to use the individual player more, which can be problematic due to their club or personal sponsors. According to the Federation The Union of players gave some new demands shortly before deadlines that they simply couldn't follow, including that the Federation would officially be the employers of the players (which would put extra expences onto the Federation) The thing is that in Denmark there's a pretty strong labour union making the agreements with the federation. Now that they haven't managed to come to an agreement, the union is asking for solidarity from all players, which would most likely mean that players would have to leave the union if they decide to play, which would not be a popular choice. It would seem like more or less nobody from the Superliga (the top tier league) wants to play meaning that they're now asking the next two tiers. But it's all pretty complicated. Both sides seem to be throwing mud at eachother making me and quite a lot of other fans feel like it's partially a personal thing between the top people of the federation and the top people of the Union. Personally I wouldn't mind seeing some people leaving the negotiations on both sides (the CEO of the Union has been so for more than all my life!)
  11. Agger1- Victor Campenaerts (3) - 3 2- Alejandro Valverde (1) - 4 3- Giacomo Nizzolo (2) - 6 4- Alessandro De Marchi (87) - 93 5- Fabio Felline (103) - 196 6- Elia Viviani (3) - 199 7- Dylan Teuns (57) - 256 8- Peter Sagan (2) - 258 9- Simon Yates (9) - 267 10- Nacer Bouhanni
  12. They have promised that we will have a team there, but it seems most likely that it will consist of mainly 2nd and 3rd tier players.
  13. I am really getting embarrased by Danish football. Some of you surely remember that The Danish Football Association and the women's national team couldn't make a new deal for the National team about a year ago meaning that the World Cup qualifier against Sweden was cancelled. Now it's the men's team who doesn't seem to be able to make a deal with the federation. The embarassing thing is that both sides seem to keep on changing their minds. An example is that yesterday the federation said that they would be ready to temporarily keep the old deal to have the best team for next week's matches. Today the players said that they would be ready to go with the old deal for another month to get some more time for making a deal and playing the matches. What does the federation say to that? NO! The matches are expected to be played, but most likely with some secondary players.
  14. I'm really loving this small alley, but I'm happy that I'm not driving one of the cars!
  15. Agger1- Victor Campenaerts (3) - 3 2- Alejandro Valverde (1) - 4 3- Giacomo Nizzolo (2) - 6 4- Alessandro De Marchi (87) - 93 5- Fabio Felline (103) - 196 6- Elia Viviani (3) - 199 7- Dylan Teuns (57) - 256 8- Peter Sagan (2) - 258 9- Simon Yates
  16. Pick'em game Agger1- Victor Campenaerts (3) - 3 2- Alejandro Valverde (1) - 4 3- Giacomo Nizzolo (2) - 6 4- Alessandro De Marchi (87) - 93 5- Fabio Felline (103) - 196 6- Elia Viviani (3) - 199 7- Dylan Teuns (57) - 256 8- Peter Sagan
  17. I was against it at first as well, but looking at the reasons to stop it made me realize that it's the right decision.
  18. Personally I'm very happy that it's a decision done on EU level as it would work much better if all EU countries (not to say all European countries) do it together.
  19. Pick'em game Agger1- Victor Campenaerts (3) - 3 2- Alejandro Valverde (1) - 4 3- Giacomo Nizzolo (2) - 6 4- Alessandro De Marchi (87) - 93 5- Fabio Felline (103) - 196 6- Elia Viviani (3) - 199 7- Dylan Teuns
  20. Seems like De Marchi didn't quite understand my instructions... But well.. Pick'em game Agger1- Victor Campenaerts (3) - 3 2- Alejandro Valverde (1) - 4 3- Giacomo Nizzolo (2) - 6 4- Alessandro De Marchi (87) - 93 5- Fabio Felline (103) - 196 6- Elia Viviani
  21. Pick'em game Agger1- Victor Campenaerts (3) - 3 2- Alejandro Valverde (1) - 4 3- Giacomo Nizzolo (2) - 6 4- Alessandro De Marchi (87) - 93 5- Fabio Felline
  22. Had no problems doing 5 km on treadmill during the early spring but after going outside I've had so much problems. Going slowly now to hopefully start running again in September. My target (the "sprint" exercise race at the World cross country championships) is getting closer and I'm still struggling.
