  1. here I am...the hardest Patriots hater ever (and the most envious man on earth of Brady...and not because his football success, of course )... so, even if I'm a shattered Raiders fan, tonight I'm gonna stay with the Rams until the end of the world and beyond... p.s by the way,i'm gonna watch the SB tomorrow, thanks to my not-so-cheap NFL Game Pass Europe... no way I'm gonna waste the night for Brady & co...
  2. yes, it was... but how many times the refs have made mistakes on actions like that and reverted the call? OK, Milenchev is probably the best sabre ref in the world, but still...when tied at 44, the risk is always there...
  3. yeah, one-run events are OK, if that run is not a farce like today's... one-run events are not the actual point... the problem with today's race is that also the only contested run wasn't fair at all... and today's track sweepers behaviour was shameful (not the first time it happens in Germany, sadly)...they just tried to really clean up the track only for Geisenberger, as the other riders deserved to slide on a moguls' course rather than a luge track...
  4. luckily we didn't miss the chance to win a tournament on a day where the Koreans couldn't kill us as usual... but we were very lucky on the decisive hit...it could have well gone the other way...
  5. not fully convinced...they'd rather call the day off with such weather condition... it was unfair for most of the riders and it could have become dangerous, too...
  6. yeah, my mistake (and I was watching the race on eurosport)...
  7. streaming gone... edit: now it's back (and Italy are no longer in front )...
  8. and Herola (just edged out by Riiber) missed out on the first Finnish victory in about 9 years... it would have been nice to see another winter sports negative streak stopped, after Italy won their first world cup race in 23 years in women's Luge singles... it would have made this day even more "historical"...
  9. the Gold Medal match between ITA and FRA, live right now on Youtube...

  16. but it still helps, in the sense that being higher in the ranking will give you a better draw in the next events (when it will count for the OQR)...

  20. and the clean sweep is closer and closer... right now, it's 2 out of 2 for Italy... and Alex Gruber is leading (with some margin) in the men's Singles after 2 out of 3 runs...waiting for the Team Event, too...
  21. today Cynthia Mascitto won't be able to repeat herself and make the podium once again in the 2nd run of the women's 1000m... she was dead last in the first semifinal heat and therefore she's relegated only to the "B" Final (which until yesterday would have been a great result...but, you know...once you start tasting the flavour of the top of the rankings, it's always tough to get back to reality)... but today we still have a great chance to make the podium with Martina Valcepina, who easily qualified for the big Final of the women's 500m...
  22. wow! surprise loss by South Korea in the quarterfinals (vs France, 42-45)... big chance for Italy...hope they're not gonna miss out on this one...

  24. yes, first world cup win since February 11th, 1996 (when Gerda won in Sankt Moritz)... fun fact...in the 1997/1998 season, Gerda won the overall world cup without a single race victory... then she shifted to Bobleigh...
  25. that is a serious threat! by the way, I wouldn't be so proud of a win like this...it's more than a farce...
