    First day of the sprint canoeing and already an eyebrow scheduling. Why have these people put half hour intervals between events, when we have only 2 heats for a minute or so.. The M Kayak 4 was done already in 9:42 and we are waiting 20+ minutes of nothing, because the next event is at 10... And this goes on for the rest too. Morons and i'm dropping this to watch something else.

    Maybe not the 60s, but i've seen most of 70s and 80s top names and their routines are mesmerizing, both in difficulty and in execution. You can say with ease for many sports, that they are way ahead in modern times, than 50 years ago, but gymnastics is not one of them.

    That was a blow-out win for Holland. Lithuania never were into the match.

    Maybe this will be the surprise of the day, after fumbled it. This is going to be a big disappointment for France, not only that they lose in the 1/4, but to Germany, which aren't amongst the top favorites.

    Spain get an overtime win after pretty much trailing the whole match. Still alive to get their second Gold of the Games.

    You know, it could actually work, if it's a forward only race through gates, like an alpine slalom. But it's absolutely moronic to have a turnaround gate, where the boat behind you can just block and push you aside and you miss the gate and lose position etc. Woods should definitely feel screwed.

    Ludacris event, you are leading and doing everything correct and then someone just blocks you and you can't go anywhere, which leads the others to just pass you, without you doing anything wrong.
