  1. Don't know about the world feed, but commentary here is from our usual guy, that has been doing athletics commentary for 20+ years, so this was the best part of the event so far
  2. It's on regular Eurosport here and I'm catching a replay now after I woke up. The whole thing still feels weird and not having full stands is not helping the excitement And the graphics they are using are atrocious.
  3. Maybe you need to clear the cookies and cache on your desktop browser. I think i also had some trouble accessing the site a few years back on my laptop, but when i cleared the data everything was fine.
  4. Bulgarian swimming has been on the rise for the past couple of years and we certainly have our best period, since the 80s. But as with most things in , a lot of good can't be without some bad to compliment it... First Antani Ivanov, who is having a 3 year ban for missing tests (and who is a real moron and i am happy he hits the road) got busted and started feuding with practically everyone and is never at fault for anything. Last year he said he was retiring and getting away from swimming, but recently made the news sites (for more attention) saying, when his ban ends in spring 2026 he is going to start competing for a new country. But like i said, good riddance. But more importantly, today one of our brightest swimmers Josif Miladinov shockingly announced his retirement at 21.. This comes out of the blue without much explanation. He made the 100 m butterfly finals at the Tokyo Olympics and the Doha WCH last year, had won a Silver & Bronze at the Euro. There seems to be no conflict between him and the Federation and he just mentioned in his post, that he wants a new path in his life... Don't know if he is burned out from all the trainings and regimes from a young child or there are some other reasons that are being kept secret, but it's a big blow for this sport here.
  5. Can someone explain the rules for these series?
  6. Mid May, end May, June, we will take whenever
  7. Why cancel them, when they could schedule for Monday. Sun Valley doesn't live up to it's name.
  8. Oh man, I'm really rooting for Preuss, but the nerves seem to be getting to her.
  9. Amazing achievement for us to cap off a remarkable winter sport season After 3 Junior World titles and a breakthrough World Cup season, everyone here knew Tervel Zamfirov is a big name for the future, but to actually end the season with a senior World Championship Gold medal is something else. I am not sure, but this could actually be our first senior WCH title in any snow sport!
  10. Well, that is a good start. But Bach also had a good start and then it became a train wreck.
  11. So we get another decade of Bach ruling What is her position on trans athletes? Is she for or against them? Also please no new 50 m events in swimming.. There are already enough swimming events as it is, these will bring nothing new. Did anyone mention at all the idea of making the SOG 3 full weeks with the 3 pillars (athletics, swimming and gymnastics) headlining each week? That's something i'm totally onboard.
  12. So, in the end who are we rooting for?
  13. Absolutely no surprise. I have been saying for 2 years now, that boxing will be in LA 28, regardless how they'd formulate, organize it etc.
  14. Lots of chaos in Australia today to start the season. As usual, i lost the count of safety cars, that were in the race. The unpredictability and position changes were more frequent, though that was always going to happen in a wet race, but i'll take it as a promising start for 2025. Antonelli made a memorable debut after all the hype around him. This kid could actually be the real deal.
  15. IBA has become the Serbia - Russia - Uzbekistan - Kazakhstan organization at this point. We have been setting up joining World Boxing for a while, so they made sure to chastise us here for that. Thankfully this will be our last competition for them.
  16. Europe should host 2036, then India / Egypt could have 2040.
  17. I know the forum is in a rather dark timeline currently with not much engagement and activity, but I never imagined a time when we won't be having a song contest. I too have opted in and out of contests throughout the years, but it was always a given, that twice a year there will be TISC. And this for over a decade
  18. I had high expectations for Motta, but Juventus have been playing awfully almost the entire season.. The CL elimination was disastrous and they are barely hanging to top 4 in the Serie A. And with their schedule it's very possible they miss the CL next season and even dropping out of the Europa League. If i was in the Juve board i'd start panicking. And they also have the World Cup in the summer. Italia has been having a disastrous year in Europe in general. After being the top nation the past 2 years and almost getting 9 teams, now they are losing the extra CL spot and it's not sure if they'd even have a team in the 1/2 in Europe.
  19. Not the same problem, but the site has been very slowly loading for me in the past week.
  20. Always like, when my predictions/wishes come true. Who would have thought that not competing for 2 months before the Worlds wouldn't lead to the desired results. At least now we will get another season from Johaug. And if she is serious, a full season. If not, 3-4 races in December and then dropping in Cortina like she is the only one competing.
  21. Klaebo does the impossible damn But from a purely sporting perspective, the biggest injustice in the past years was that they robbed us of a legendary Klaebo - Bolshunov rivalry
  22. Pogacar is so used to easy wins, that he throws himself in the bushes just to make the race more interesting for him
  23. Wow, I have completely missed the return of Anna van der Breggen Why is that by the way?
  24. I'm satisfied with the winners, there isn't something, that i strongly dislike. From the presented options (and favorites) i think they chose mostly the ones i would have gone with. Anora was a 7/10 film when i watched it, largely because of the lackluster first part of the film. The second part was amazing. Maybe i will need a re-watch to see, if i missed something. Madison carried 80% of the film and her win was well-deserved. Her performance was always top-notch. Strong year with Torres and Moore, they would have won in many of the last 10-15 years. I'm glad for Brody winning as well. They guy did one hell of a performance.
