  1. The weather here today. And thus, a new Venice was born https://www.facebook.com/100045040390099/videos/347019350142742/ https://www.facebook.com/100000207638380/videos/4673095689373973/ https://www.facebook.com/1049213674/videos/10223605350175701/ https://www.facebook.com/100001675221579/videos/4138286836237116/ https://www.facebook.com/100000433942168/videos/4361880757169679/
  2. With Chiesa, Immobile, Insigne, Belloti, choosing Berardi is rather strange
  3. With all due respect this is your opinion and believes. Westerners should really stop with their moral superiority complex of teaching other people, nations, cultures on how to live their lives.
  4. What the IOC really mean of Winter equality is 50% snowboard/freestyle urban events and 50% for all other sports.
  5. Understandable about the financial part, but why do they want it to be with the Euro? You would think they'd like to be between the WC and Euro, so all the fan attention is on them. That was certainly the case here, with fans staying up during the nights to watch Coppa matches, when it was the only tournament in the summer. Now everyone is preparing and talking for the Euro.
  6. Agreed, but why is this though? Having it the year after the WC seemed perfectly fine for me. This years edition is pointless, not only, because of the COVID situation, but because the football seasons are so condensed now and we already had a Coppa in 2019. The players can't catch a break.
  7. Yet their Euro football team has 20 foreigners out of 26
  8. They can't forfeit both Spain and Sweden, who is going to get the win
  9. Difficult match for Iga, but she pulled through safely. Dream final Iga - Paula still on deck

  12. Dubious wins and scandalous refereeing in boxing. I'm speechless
  13. How dare you! Don't they know, that Macedonia was a country, even before the dinosaurs.
  14. By far the best women's match so far at RG. Consistently great rallies by both. Vamos Paula, you can turn things around!
  15. Bogdan playing out of her mind. Finding her inner Djokovic and grinding every damn point.
  16. Damn, Mektic/Pavic are out with Covid. And they were dominating the doubles circuit all year and were odds on favorites.
  17. Going back to the 80s, i think it would be necessary to look in the sports i excluded Like Carlos Sainz, Stephane Peterhansel, Jimmy White and even then, they are only a few.
  18. Watching Federer and Williams at the French Open got me thinking, which athletes, who started competing in the 90s are still active today? As if it was yesterday, but that time was 20+ years. Not counting sports like golf, darts, snooker, equestrian, some motorsports, where age isn't that big of a factor and you could be competing in your fifties. I'm thinking more of the physical, functionality sports. On top of my head i can say: - Gianluigi Buffon (football) - Alejandro Valverde (cycling) - Oksana Chusovitina (gymnastics) - Valentino Rossi (motorsport) - included him, because it is bikes, where age is still a big factor If anyone has more names, you can add them to see how many we can find
  19. Is Italy with the junior team, as they are 0-5 and probably after tonight 0-6 ?
  20. "The return of the Eurovision Song Contest, the world’s biggest live music event, was seen by 183 million viewers across 36 markets* as online engagement soars. The Contest was a massive hit with young audiences. The viewing share of the Grand Final among 15–24-year-olds was up 7 percentage points on 2019. 52.8% of that age group watching TV at that time tuned in, which is 4 times higher than the broadcast channels average (14.5%). Online, during the week of the Eurovision Song Contest, 50.6 million unique viewers across 234 countries watched on the official YouTube channel, up 28% on 2019. 18–34-year-olds made up 71% of those who viewed live content." The IOC fuming, as their wet dreams of young people is not correlating.
  21. Hitting the Italian Renaissance Those 20 Challengers in Biella are not for nothing you know
  22. Things looking even better for hot-shot favorite Paula Badosa Gibert
  23. I completely forgot these were today. Gonna set myself for Italy - Portugal later tonight. Spain going to escape in extra time against Croatia now.
