    I feel very sorry for Tsitsipas He deserved to win and things were going great, but allez.     16 was and is the perfect number. Even 20 would be better. 24 was the brain child of Platini in 2008 or so to please smaller nations and secure his election. The Euro doesn't feel as big as before with 24 plain and simple.

    I know they missed a few. The glorious times of top 4 / top 8 finals, where only the best and most deserved qualified and not half of the continent.. Still it was an interesting fact.
