Dressage is held at 4* technical difficulty so it was an unusual challenge for most of the teams. I did expect Canada to be doing better than Brazil this time, but overall a fairly decent showing from Mexico and Uruguay too. Argentina disappointed, but it's all to play for tomorrow.

2 new medals added to the tally that day, including the so-long awaited 2nd Gold.
Modern Pentathlete Andres Torres earned his 2nd medal of the Games.
And another 2 other medals secured yesterday as well in the Boxing Ring.
and to complete a day of Two´s, 2 new Olympic Quotas achieved yesterday by María José Palacios in W Boxing Lightweight and Julio Mendoza on back of his Jewel´s Goldstrike in Equestrian Dressage rised the total amount of qualified athletes for Paris to 12.

Very good freestyle for Losos de Muniz. This could seal an Olympic quota.
 
Grimm has been close or better in the technical tests this week, but experience plays a big part in freestyles, so it has to be the Dominican with the upper hand here.

Great job João Victor, only our second individual medal in Dressage (and best result ever). Also surprising result from Renderson, who started competing this year and gets a 5th place here.

I would like to send them Thursday.

Unlike some other silver medals we won at the Pan American Games, I'm very happy about this one, which of course is our best result ever

Mendoza topped the individual table today, just ahead of Oliva and Tubman. It will be a very interesting battle for the individual medals (and individual quotas).

Most likely it was blood spot detected by a jury. Usually that just means the horse bit its tongue.
 
I don't know what happened exactly because the stream broke down just then.

After one counting rider each, Chile has already gained net 3% against Canada compared to yesterday.
 
Surely Canada can't mess this up even with a sub par team.
