  1. You change the name every now and then.

  4. 3rd place for our own Marin Rantes at the Freestyle WC last weekend in Montpellier. A bit late to found out, but nevertheless an exciting result.
  5. [hide] Knockout Round May 17th - May 20th, 2018 Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Bronze Medal Match and Gold Medal Match Quarterfinals Date & Time (GMT +9) Nation 1 T1 T2 Nation 2 May 17th 2018, h. 16:15 United States 2 Czech Republic May 17th 2018, h. 16:15 Russia 1 Canada May 17th 2018, h. 20:15 Sweden 2 Latvia May 17th 2018, h. 20:15 Finland 2 Switzerland [/hide]
  6. They are actually real mascots.
  7. Turkish races were all interval starts, so it's somehow excepted that the finishes would not be close in that respect. In any case, for Bogota there seems to be no proof whatsoever. It's the FIS points system that made such results possible. I mean, if Kalla, Bjoergen, Parmakoski and Diggins wanted to, they could have literally raced at 0,1% of their abilities and thus allowed a random Tuvaluan girl to qualify for the Olympics... FIS points system assumes that everyone always gives 100%.
  8. Actually, I've checked and it looks like equestrian will have its special South American qualifier in November. Reason is probably Bolivia.
  9. Yeah, AIBA's transaction is expected to sit onto IOC's account by July.
  10. Finally a day with normal winning margins. Top score of the day for me.
  11. Diana Al Shaer (who last competed internationally in 2014 for Russia) has apparently switched allegiance to Palestine and is scheduled to make her debut on Grand Prix level next week... Damn, now they have GP riders. If one more appears then Palestine could seriously challenge for Olympic team qualification since South Africa is struggling at the moment. Zimmermann has a daughter who does dressage... Can't imagine how hilarious would it be if half of Palestine's Olympic team is made of dressage riders.
  12. Yes, and the one where won by a single point.
  13. It wasn't even that much of a thing here either. I remember that the 3rd division team athletics turned out to be my highlight.
  14. Yay, we will take part in this event.
  15. So, according to this, Andrew Nicholson has managed to collect 229851.2 penalties.
  16. Well yeah, Eurovision is not Eurovision without massive fans hate.
  17. Honestly, I think it won because of the singer's condition (or at least that's why it won by such a margin...). So probably once again it wasn't about song only.
  18. "Thank you for celebrating diversity bla bla..."... Jesus, can it just once be a song contest and not some political message or whatever?
  19. Europe is such screwed up continent so I'm not surprised in the least to be honest.
  20. Dressage from Munich, followed by dressage from Hamburg. And after that I'm going to the theater for the first time in years.
