  1. Two down for Krajewski. Also Ferguson. Honor Me just can't do sub-35 dressage or clear show jumping. Out-and-out cross-country horse. Nothing bad with that, but XC was simply not hard enough.
  2. My heart still breaks for Burto. He must get an individual medal soon. Preferrably gold. Another clear for AUS.
  3. RIP Netherlands NZ already up two places.
  4. Senra Chover needs to buy a lottery ticket today. He cluttered like 10 fences, and only 3 came down...
  5. Clear for Rose. Australia still on the way for a quadruple clear.
  6. RIP USA Actually RIP Brazil... Since now it's going to be pretty impossible for them to qualify a team. For the first time since 1992.
  7. Welp, no triple clear for NZ...
  8. Trish Ryan makes the first double clear. Good sign for the Irish.
  9. Individual https://live.rechenstelle.de/2018/tryon/leaderboard01.html Team https://live.rechenstelle.de/2018/tryon/nationcup01.html
  10. Cricket round for Wettstein. It really sounds like the end of the World when horses start punching literally every single fence.
  11. Zabala-Goetschel makes the first jumping clear! But w/ time faults. All horses have looked very fresh so far, so there's really no excuse for a poor performance...
  12. Another bad phase for poor old Coleman. 3 fences down on a horse that really must have jumped clear...
  13. Last placed athlete Vogg is only 50+ penalties behind second-to-last athlete. That's what happens when you collect 90 (!!) jumping penalties over cross-country.
  14. It should be a tight battle between and even for the final 3 Olympic spots. are well in front, so it would take a disaster for them to lose a spot. Although saying that, the French are definitely not the best of jumpers... Australians are probably the best rated show jumpers, so I don't see them losing a spot. Germany and Sweden are somewhat worse, but not too bad overall. Americans may struggle to have more than one clear. Dutch are probably the worst jumpers of the lot, so they have an outside chance at best. New Zealand can bring 3 clears. Canada is not that far, but they aren't particularly consistent jumpers either (aside from Colleen Loach). Show jumping will have 4* technical difficulty, compared to 3* cross-country, so it could easily be overinflutential... But by the same token, there was a rest day in between so the level of jumping might improve.

  16. I don't follow too much of marathon swimming, but I think these two Canadian stages are always held during either Olympics, Worlds, or Europeans. It's quite ridiculous.
  17. Because why make it easy when you can make it complicated? "2nd best 2nd of second round"
  18. What riders saw: What horses saw:
  19. So that would be 2 hours after the start... You won't get to see Patricia for sure, perhaps also not Sam and Cathal. But I'm sure you will see Sarah and Padraig. I guess there will likely be some breaks though (arena maintenance etc), in this big field of 70 starters... There is also quite often a longer break before the final 25 starters in these kind of competitions, so Sam could be safe too.
  20. Freskgard and Scott are out, everyone else will start tomorrow in reverse order. Competition will start at 10am local time.
  21. Very nerve-racking horse inspection for the Irish team... But they made it.
  22. What an amazing photo. More XC gallery here.
  23. Hopefully Belize will be a contender for a tripartite place for Tokyo.
