Well, if anyone had doubts, we got a confirmation that
has a gold medal chance in men's hammer throw, over 80 for the first time for Kokhan. And all things considered Halász did well, but he obviously needs to improve and go over 80 as well, men's hammer throw can have a really strong Olympic final this year.
For me 1. USA 2. UKRAINE 3
POLAND (Nowicki). Fajdek will miss olympic chance once again. Great chance for medal for Ukraine. Good luck.

with all respect to the polish girl but wish the girl from Trinidad and Tobago got that quota instead as she surely would be very competitive for a medal or top 5
This ranking in heptathlon was bizzard. Sulek and girl from Trynidad was so close qualify thanks to standard, girl from Uzbekistan has good ranking thanks to Asian Champs.

I guess everything will be more clear tomorrow when the official lists come out. Apparently as there have been a lot of withdrawals, Greece is hoping to get in for men's doubles and women's doubles. At least that is the rumour. I'll believe it when I see it.
Whar kind of rumour?

I suppose that's good news for us. But to be honest I had not realised that both Irish riders were in their 60s so hardly going for the experience. Struggling to avoid last place will be their aim sadly.
Stupid. If Ireland first declined the spot, Belgium should send a team.
Ireland has a problem for decide? They don't know what they are doing?
National committee decide here or athlete? Childish game from Ireland.

Happy for Pawlak & Fantastic Frieda. Very reliable jumpers, exactly what a team needs.
Has the reserve athlete been named?
Yes, but we have a problem with Warszawski - reserved Kiempa and Kaminski. But Warszawski can join, but probably qualification status for Warszawski /Lucinda is a problem

No, it's only for countries that don't have anyone qualified in any events. Poland has many in athletics so they can't use it.
Estonia has 3 qualified in decathlon

Athletic wildcards are not tripartite. Every nation is entitled to one quota in Athletics regardless of how many they have in other sports. Same with Swimming
So Poland can use this also? For example for decathlon

As you can see I am using “If”, I have no idea medically and I am not outright against transgender to compete with women. But if they have an advantage due to biology I do not think they should be able to
Totally understand that, but don't you think they should have this kind of results?
1. It will stop haters
2. It will be fair for letting participate (if this advantage is too big) with points factors for example or maybe it will be diffrent event for trans athletes in Olympic Games
For me nowadays this subject is too emotional. It should be more scientific.
