  1. Amazing for 18 year old Rudolf Molleker to qualify for his first grand slam (against Schwartzmann) on his first try. Who would have thought that he would do it while Kuhn and Auger-Aliassime would fail?
  2. Pretty, pretty, pretty good. In the east only Oladipo is debatable. I think Lowry, Simmons, Beal or Walker also would have been solid picks. In the west Doncic doesn't belong in the starting 5, but maybe he could get the last remaining spot for forwards. Curry, James and Harden definitely belong in the starting 5. I think it would make sense to pick a center (Jokic, Davis) and either Durant or George for the remaining 2 spots.
  3. And the same happened in women's foil! First world cup podium for generational talent Leonie Ebert!
  4. Doncic is clearly the favorite for ROY, but there is no way that he deserves to be an all-star. For me: West: Harden, Curry, Durant, George, Davis, James, Lillard, Westbrook, Jokic, Gobert, Harris, Thompson/DeRozan Starting 5: Curry, Harden, James, Durant, Jokic/Davis East: Giannis, Butler, Embiid, Oladipo, Leonard, Walker, Irving, Vucevic/Drummond/Horford, Beal, Wall/Lowry, Middleton/Tatum, Simmons Starting 5: Irving, Butler, Leonard, Giannis, Embiid
  5. Not surprised at all that Touissant was caught. The sudden improvements of certain dutch swimmers (Touissant, Kamminga, Puts, ...) have always been very suspicious for me.
  6. Amazing draw for Bayern! Hopefully i will get tickets for Anfield.
  7. Wasn't possible, Arsenal is playing Euroleague.
  8. Very strong reaction and all of that just because she released some nude pictures a while ago? Seems like a bit of an overreaction to me to be honest ...
  9. Please stop telling everyone on here about my scheme, otherwise there will be no one left to answer to my comments and then what reason would i still have to be on this board?
  10. I think group A is the strongest, followed by group B, all other groups are trash. 16 teams would be more than enough. Group A: France ahead of Norway Group B: Germany ahead of China/Spain Group C: Brazil ahead of Australia Group D: England and Japan in 1 and 2 Group E: Canada ahead of the Netherlands Group F: USA ahead of Sweden Quarterfinals: England/Japan vs. Norway/Australia France vs. USA Brazil vs. Canada/Japan/England Germany vs. Netherlands/Sweden If both France and USA win their group, the 2 best teams will already face each other in the quarterfinals ... Apparently this time the draw wasn't rigged in favor of the host.
  11. Germany is shit without Dahlmeier, no talents. Preuß never even realized 50 % of her potential. Fialkova's performances so far are very worrying. Quite interesting that out of all countries SLOVAKIA is producing two athletes who are that fast in cross-country. We know the reason for Kuzmina's superhuman performances, i think it is very likely that Fialkova is using the same methods as Kuzmina.
  12. Ridiculous to compare what they did to the methods used in weightlifting and cycling. They should be banned for using a method that is not even illegal? Maybe think again ...
  13. Impressive win for Germany, only 2 wins away from reaching the semifinal.
  14. Ultra-impressive win for Germany. Before the start of the tournament the team said that their goal was to win the title, maybe it's not completely unrealistic after all ...
  15. Amazing weekend for Germany. 2 3rd places and a win and all of that without Dreßen, Dopfer and Neureuther contributing anything. Hopefully Luitz can finally show performances like that consistantly. Everyone always knew that he can have random podium finishes, but he never fully used his potential until now because he made too many big mistakes on a regular basis.
  16. German media said that it doesn't count as a world cup win and that's how it should be. Most of the elite athletes did just as much as needed, otherwise Brugger and the other german guys never would have gotten anywhere near the top 10.
  17. Germany got lucky again with the draw, Löw's streak of always finishing first during qualification should continue.
  18. What an amazing result for Weidle! I criticized the german coaches often enough, but what they did with Dreßen and now apparently with Weidle is amazing. Hopefully Dreßen will be back in top shape by the start of next season, he could co-dominate men's downhill for many years.
  19. The moment a dutch coach takes over the german ladies finally show their true potential ... I always knew the potential was there, hopefully this wasn't just a fluke.
  20. What a historic result for german boxing. First final in women's boxing ever First gold in women's boxing ever First gold (male or female) since 2009 Only the second gold (male or female) after 1995 Let's hope that she can continue on this level (she certainly has the talent, considering that she was world junior champion in 2011), but to me this result is somewhat suspicious. She never did anything exceptional at senior level until now and then suddenly, once AIBA has a new government, she wins the gold medal (quite "easily" even, going by the results)?
  21. Let's see. Germany has no real talents in this age group (except for Havertz), but somehow they easily won their group and even won a friendly match in Italy recently. Looking at the german talent pool it is very possible that Croatia is at least on the same level when it comes to individual talent (if this generation is really as talented as you claim).
  22. Thanks, still sad. They would have had a great chance at winning a medal. Then i would say that France and Spain are safe. Germany and Italy might indeed take the other 2 spots despite Germany having a horrible generation with only one (amazing) talent. Would be funny if this horrible generation would qualify while previous great generations failed to do so.
  23. Ok start for Dreßen. A win wasnt realistic, given that the first 2 or 3 athletes clearly profited from the conditions, but top 5 would have been possible.
  24. In the history of womens boxing world championships Germany had only won one medal in total before this edition (bronze in 2016), now Germany has already secured a bronze medal and at least a silver medal at this edition. Great to see progression, are -57 kg and -69 kg olympic weight classes?
  25. China What happened to Russia, England and Mosseley?
