Matej got a reaction from copravolley in Shooting Qualification to Summer Olympic Games Paris 2024
Hi guys!
Yeah, the updates are a bit behind in the last few days, because a lot of rankings are published and many more reallocations going on in all sports, not just shooting, which makes the whole process a bit messy. So in sports where a lot of changes are expected, I decided to update them after the final lists are published (or when I have time).
So be patient with me in the next few days/ weeks, it's a one man's bend here

Well, I think it’s time for my annual “final post of the year” thingy. I’m this one a bit earlier than usual, so hopefully no one snakes the honor from me
As always, 2023 was a lively year on the forum. It felt like the year began with users trying to cancel each other over their opinions on one conflict, and ended with users trying to cancel each other over another. Still, it was nice interacting with all of you during another revolution around the Sun. Whether we were sharing retro video game footage during the TISC, or gasping in disbelief at Femke Bol’s infamous fall, the feeling of togetherness and shared excitement shone through once more. I would like to thank everyone who indulged my incessant posts in the multi-sports games section, shared results documents with me, aided my hosting of the TISC, or simply interacted with me on the forum. I’ve spoken about the personal importance of this website to me in the past, but I can’t understate what an impact it has on my life. It’s there when I want to chat with people; while I anxiously wait at the doctor/dentist/other mundane places; when I need the hottest gossip or newest info on major event, or when I simply need something to scroll through on my phone. I consider many users to be legitimate friends of mine, even if we’ve never met in person. I guess that’s the “true” Magic of Totallympics.
I wanted to give a shoutout to @Sindo for keeping the forum online and open for another year. To the mod team, @vinipereira @hckošice (and anyone I’m forgetting) for trying to keep threads as civil as possible. To @Wumo for creating so many fun and competitive prediction contests (even if I’m not the most active in the that space). To @Cobi for organizing a wonderful annual edition of the TISC. To @OlympicIRL @mrv86 for their assistance in organizing the open edition of TISC. To @JoshMartini007 @Matej @Benolympique @Mateus Nagime @Laraja @Josh for the frequent and informative updates on Olympic qualification. To anyone who joined this madness this year and stuck around (I don’t have a full list unfortunately). To anyone who contributed to the forum in their own way.
There’s a lot to look forward to next year; I’m sure none of you need a reminder, so I’ll simply wish all users, their families, their friends, and their fellow country people a wonderful and hopeful new year. I personally hold no ill will towards 2023, but it is exciting to flip the calendar back around and celebrate a new year.
So with hope in our hearts and in eager anticipation of what lies ahead, let’s prepare to welcome the last Totallympics time zone to 2024 and 33rd modern Olympiad!

Indonesia. But only 1 women's quota, 1 men's will be reallocated because they already qualified via World Championships.
This also means that 1 individual women's quota from Asian Games goes to Chinese Taipei, who finished 7th (it was meant for Indonesia, but mixed team have priority)

Matej reacted to Jan Linha in Athletics Qualification to Summer Olympic Games Paris 2024
Thanks bro. I know about the qualification tracker. Worry not. What I am curious about are the World ranking points and start making some evaluations who and how may qualify based on the world ranking but not on qualifying by the Olympic limit. That is why I am rather waiting as hell for the Road to Paris Olympic ranking. For us, nearly impossible to do the counting of all the athletes ......

Yes, thank you! I forgot it existed.
The only thing I would add here in this thread is the names of the ahletes from the NOCs where max quota is exceeded.

Well, where to begin…
The forum stayed online another year thanks to @Sindo. It got a facelift thanks to the content generated by @Matej@JoshMartini007@Vojthas @Mkbw50 and others. Our results section grew thanks to the major contribution of @frantic13poland, among others. We celebrated another two editions of TISC under the guidance of @OlympicIRL, with wonderful hosts @Vektor @Hipooo. Our competitive circuit of prediction contests was once again successfully overseen by @Wumo, and our end of year awards revived by @vinipereira. Finally, the moderation team kept things (mostly) civil in the threads for another year against all odds. Hats off all
It finally felt like international sports returned to a semi-normal state this year. We celebrated another Olympics, World Cup, and numerous other events together. Unfortunately, it was also a year marked by conflict. Conflict between nations; between internal domestic forces; between users. It was certainly a year of highs and lows; from top athletes missing the Olympics due to Covid and other injuries, to Messi finally leading Argentina to a World Cup victory. Some of us spent time recovering from injuries and illness, while others celebrated bringing a new life into the world. Through it all, and not to lean too hard on the favorite cliche of the international sports community, we were united by sport.
Whether we were captivated or devastated, entertained or bored, overjoyed by victory or ostensibly angered by loss; users alike were connected by sport. We screamed, laughed, argued, celebrated, and debated like one large dysfunctional family; a brotherhood of international sports fans. I can say, without a shred of doubt, that my year was inextricably improved by the time I spent on this forum. If time is money, then joining the forum just over four years ago was one of my more sound investments. I’d like to thank all of you for your contributions to this forum. We’ve collectively grown such a wonderful, even if occasionally frustrating, community.
Additionally, many of you have been so incredibly supportive of my career as an international sports journalist. I can’t thank you enough for your support. I can only hope to repay you with more excellent content in the year to come.
So with that sentiment, let’s remember fondly the year we’re leaving behind, and greet the future with great enthusiasm. We’re now mere minutes away from the last Totallympics time zone joining everyone else in the New Year, so break out the confetti, libations, firecrackers, boomsticks, and cursed vuvuzelas. It’s time for one last celebration in 2022!

Hi, I believe this link will help you a lot But sadly, no detailed schedule for swimming preliminaries is available (my guess is FINA has no clue about the number of heats)

A while ago it was one of the NOCs that had published pdfs with these times on their website and I also think those files appeared on this forum. But now I can't find them anymore online ?

I have tried to calculate the number of events for each country. True, this is very difficult to do, so I just counted the events in which athletes achieved entry standards. I know there are some mistakes, but the approximate number could be of help.
You can find your country here:
