  1. This is horrible, previous rule was a huge push for African teams to qualify, and I believe it should be between 5th and 12th place, because 12 teams is on the good level in almost every weapon, and with that European fencing will suffer for sure because 1 or 2 more deserving teams will stay at home
  2. What a final in women's long jump, 6th attempt decided everything and luckily for Ukraine our wooden medalist from last year U20 World Championship Diana Miroshnychenko exchanged her 4th place to bronze medal by second best attempt
  3. Funnily enough she managed to win a medal here but not on the EYOF, where age group is U19
  4. Outstanding competition for Angelina Shepel, she won silver medal in shot put with 15,69 m in 17 years
  5. Third consecutive gold for Bogdan Mochulskyi in fighting jiu-jitsu, and became the first one in this sport to did it (previously 5 people were tied with 2 golds)
  6. Some interesting action happened as our hurdler Iryna Budzynska jumped 6,65 m on her second ever competition in LJ (first one was this year with 6,42 m)
  7. So glad about Douallà but Uliana Stepaniuk won first ever medal in 100 m for Ukraine on this age
  8. They put us on the map!! Maryna Gladun/Tetiana Lazarenko just won their first European title, beating French pair in three sets and claiming first ever gold at that level. Maryna and Tetiana for sure will be in top-10 again and who knows, maybe they qualify for the Finals this year, but considering at the start of their partnership they have no money to enter the Elite American tournaments, now it can be better for them
  9. What a horrible fencing from Italian team, Favaretto, Errigo and Volpi were dead against Ukraine but managed to go with Cristino's help, and now Cristino can't do nothing good against France and it's GG. I've never seen more stupid fencing from then than this two matches , but congrats to France, even without Ysaora and with Anita in not peak form they managed to go to final
  10. Some delusional Bulgarian fans told me that she would EASILY beat Kharlan at the scandalous WCh-2023 and still secure a medal, when in fact Kharlan beated her at the European Games, so after that funnily enough Yoana flopped every single big start, so I guess karma is real and I'm petty
  11. Two medals for Ukraine and Ilieva didn't make a podium, seems like a dream for me
  12. I think Italy can win, because USA is horrible except for Kiefer - Scruggs flopped almost all season, Jaelyn is too young. France isn't that good without Ysaora, Canada lacked third girl, Japan is unstable, others is no contenders, although it's WChs and anything could happen
  13. Grandma can't react properly, I don't know why is she here
  14. Yes, there are even towns like Narva where most of the population are connected with Russia, however, Lehis doesn't even speak Russian, so I don't understand what's so hard to understand for her in that situation
  15. I get it, but it has nothing to do with Cristino, who could not win a gold with Kiefer and she has a tough draw with 2/3 Olympic medalists. I'm much more worried about Italian sabre than foil, it degradated rapidly
  16. Why? I think Cristino's bronze is a great result, considering she was losing to Poloziuk all match + she beated Harvey, who is on her top form of the career this season. The only disapointing result should be Errigo's
  17. Quite a scandal at the medal ceremony After Vlada refused to take a photo with borodachev (how the fuck he is allowed to compete with his military connections) Katrina Lehis made an annoying face at that. I don't like Katrina even more now, and considering that Nelli Differt signed the letter from Ukrainian federation, I hope Estonia failed to qualify in team and Nelli will again participate at the Olympics
  18. Our priority queen Kharkova is NEW WORLD CHAMPION
  19. I don't think we need him, because it's famous Ukrainian tradition to rig the squads and destroy the atmosphere which affected whole thing (practiced a lot with our kayak/rowing quadruple sculls), we have good guys from U-22, so it can be something without him
  20. Actually, we not mad at it, because Sigulda is a home venue for all our skeletonists and lugers, so we are very grateful to have support from our Latvian friends
  21. Unfortunately, not for now, but there's some version on it: https://rhineruhr2025.com/en/schedule/sports
  22. The timing is really bad, because it's also the time of the World/European Championships in many sports, so not so many top athletes who are considered as youth or students can be there
  23. And it's 3:1 victory for Ukraine and somehow we are still in the mix for playoff on our debut season
  24. Second title in the career for Hladun/Lazarenko and probably (maybe?) first ever top-10 in World Rankings for Ukrainian beach volleyball team
  25. Well, he just as Czech as me being the prima balerina, it's ex-Ukrainian guy
