    I think Russia will pull out after US does so. It will de-escalate the situation in Yemen but far from ending. To be practical, I hope either side have a huge win to end the war and UN and all major countries recognize the winner as the de facto lawful government.

    Russia has no direct interests there neither US does, these two military superpower just randomly pick a side to support for proxy war just like what they do in other Middle East countries. If just Iran and Saudi support different sides, it won’t be such a mess now. They just want to keep their influence regionally and globally and whoever step back first would be regarded surrender. Finally Biden step back first for the sake of innocent civilians. Geopolitically lose for US but kept their Democrat‘s cherished value.

    The intention is good for the sake of Yemeni civilians. But it also means a free victory of Russian and Iran backed Houthi forces. It’s a generous gift for Yemeni people, Iran and Russia and world peace. The sacrifice is Saudi’s interest.

    Myanmar is of China’s interests, there are some major China-led infrastructure projects under construction there, especially the gas pipeline linked China and Indian Ocean. If US put some sanctions on Myanmar, it will only push it even firmly on China’s side. Actually it already happened when the West together condemning the so-called Rohinga genocide.

    Sadly our neighbor is back to uncertainty and chaos. If military doesn't take order from government, no matter how beautiful the democracy surface is, it's still a fragile vase.

    I just searched their information. They are from Xinjiang, most probably Uighur or a little possibility of Kazak. Northern Xinjiang is a good place for skiing and many Chinese skiing athletes are from there. Actually most Chinese winter sports athletes are either from freezing North East or North West(Xinjiang).

    Situation worsens every day and policies update every day. It's very likely to be the first Chinese new year I spend in Beijing without family members due to the potential enlarging total lockdown.

The most import thing is that government urge people not go back to hometown for Chinese new year with a potential and unclear compulsory quarantine. I bought return tickets already and also ready to be forced cancel my trip anytime. My experience told me this extremely cunning virus can only be controlled by vaccine or herd immunity. Manpower can hardly contain it by all means of intervence.
