  1. I am worried the innocent actor would be full of bravery and confidence because of a comfort call and literally start some unpredictable battle. Ukraine is a failed country but not Syria yet, don’t go that far.
  2. Will the minor stand-off in East Ukraine become a major conflict between proxies of US and Russia?
  3. I don’t know why Japan gymnastics association seemed to be very pissed off after his error in Melbourne stage and then made the announcement. I even doubt that is it because of travel fee concern. Actually China NT also sometimes stopped sending unfavorable athletes but their local clubs will support them financially sometimes.
  4. Japan announced they will not send Miyachi to attend rest stages before so unless some big progress he made during the pandemic, he won’t show up on Doha and lost the quota. Keikha has little chance to get the quota directly but he has a good chance to get the wild card I guess. As a new comer, he deserves the encouragement.
  5. Actually Liu Yang will get the quota if Doha cancelled. Weng Hao participated the 2019 Doha stage and ranked 28th failing reach to finals. It's uneasy for us to detect that and presumed absent. So there is a 0 score to take into account and he lost the tie-break. FIG results check: https://www.gymnastics.sport/site/events/results.php?idEvent=14998#filter
  6. I forgot the source, but based on my memory, they can compete in all events except from team event.
  7. For me the logo is copycat of London 2012. I believe the concept is that the easier(cheaper) the better.
  8. May I ask why some category includes multiple wrestlers from the same NOC? I see 2 KGZ, 2 KOR and 2 JPN wrestlers in 57kg, isn't it unfair for those sending 1 wrestler each category (I mean CHN). @MHSN
  9. I am pretty sure Japan do not have a second pair so good news.
  10. In conspiracy, we call it script. Judges still want to give US 3 quotas.
  11. very likely only 1 quota for Canada in Ladies
  12. Yes, very selfish behavior.
  13. Sui/Han are sure not in their best condition since Han did a surgery last year and skipped all previous tournaments. I believe they could be better after more practice this season. But still I think Russian's PCS are always higher than what I expected. Not only for Chinese, but also for Japanese in ladies. But there are no Japanese fans here, I don't know what they think about the PCS difference between Anna Scherbakova and Rika Kihira.
  14. Chinese fans always joking that Russian and USA(referring Nathan Chen) are granted extra nationality scores and their PCS are always higher than expected. Too upset to get sleep on the 5am in the morning.
  15. Can't believe that the Russian new pair's Program Component Score is just 1 point behind Sui/Han and then win the championship. Their technique is really good but it's their first time and I gotta say their overall presentation is not worth that much PSC.
  16. It depends on their ice dancing. The pair really surprised me with big progress.
  17. Chen is in but feel sad about French girl's injury
  18. Hong Kong are sitting on the couch watching the match and busy calling to China to let them in.
  19. I understand after the trial begins Trudeau can't do much, he can't meddle in the case. But it's his call to detain Ms Meng at the very beginning. This is the start of the story. The whole explanation you said is well known by most educated Chinese. But it just don't justify the move. Because this case is not an economic crime, it's a political battle between US and China. The name of crime is that US forbids any enterprise doing business with Iran but Huawei did and then US could ask Canada detain its CFO. Don't use beautiful wording to explain the rule of order. Use common sense to think Should Canada get involve this case? Does it sound like a case or political trap?
  20. But as a politician like Trudeau have to understand politics is not calling for help from media and asking for signatures. All these moves are extremely naive in China's eyes. China don't believe in American-style "law and order" and believe in tit for tat retaliation. As a politician he should be aware of it and make decision based on this. NK is just an example, never mind.
  21. Not exactly. Canada is not among those countries conquering China during 19th century. And China has a long period of time keeping peace with Canada. If looked back to the 19th century, Russia is the no.1 enemy who invaded China most land and helping separate Mongolia out of China in WW2. But still China and Russia are very close right now because of the geopolitical reality.
  22. Let's assume China and North Korea have extradition treaty and North Korea sanctions Air Canada because it does business with USA. And North Korea ask China to extradite the CFO of Air Canada during his/her business trip in China. So what will China do? Will China proactively get involved into this shithole? Let's be clear. Canada is not the first US ally asked for extradition but the first did it. Is the country ignored the extradition lawless and US sent bomb there?
  23. Why don't you mention the origin of the drama? Who the hell start the arbitrary detention game? Is the law of US is bible but other country's law is toilet paper?
