  1. China has not yet release the squad list because of Cao Yuan's injury. If count him in, I think it will be 11 persons and it will be 10 without him. I guess it also will release some reallocation quotas.
  2. Can't believe that the soap opera is still going on. His reportedly neutralization process remains unclear. It's still possible that he go back to Korea or trying to represent China but rejected by Korea (only in OG).
  3. I didn't follow the Asian qualifier previously and I saw it from Wikipedia. It shows Hong Kong and Korea receive the W1x quotas and Hong Kong Rowing federation website confirmed the Hong Kong one. So I think it refers that Hong Kong automatically lost LM2x. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rowing_at_the_2020_Summer_Olympics_–_Qualification
  4. I originally thought the same as you. But after reading the qualification document I am even more confused. How to interpret the bold part? If the boat qualified through a Continental Qualification regatta, the quota place will be reallocated to the next highest placed boat from an NOC that has not yet qualified a boat for the Olympics, whether through the World Rowing Championships or the Continental Qualification regatta. Where there are no further crews to which qualifying places can be allocated, such places shall be added to the qualifying places in the same event at the Final Qualification regatta.
  5. According to Wiki (I know it might not be 100% accurate) Hong Kong declined the LM2X continental quota. May I confirm the reallocation order is 1.continental qualifier, 2. 2019 WCH, 3. 2021 Regatta? If so, in this case is the order 1. 2019 WCH Final D, 2 2019 WCH Final F,3 2021 Regatta?
  6. China will not held relay on summer national championships.
  7. Marin's left knee ACL hurt with unknown severity yet. Good luck.
  8. Welcome to the forum @River Knight. Nice to see new comer from Asia, especially my nearest neighbor, I am from Guangxi by the way.
  9. You mean the wild cards? Where is the source?
  10. Is the Asian continental quota decided by points/combined category ranking/pre-combined category ranking? I wonder if Li Ranran ranking 2nd or 3rd in Asia? Which means she need to wait how many competitors won the qualifier then she may receive the continental quota? @MHSN
  11. If so, it will be very unfriendly for Chinese athletes because they need to quarantine for 14 days when they are back and after that it's already mid July. Otherwise they need to stay in Doha and directly go to Japan in July. Either way isn't a good choice.
  12. Does anyone know any update of Doha stage? Like cancelation or not?
  13. According to Japanese tabloid Daily Shincho, in a Japanese Olympic athletes press conference, media are told not to raise question about vaccine and OG cancellation. Because if athletes tell the truth that they hope OG will be held then they will face backlash on internet. I think it perfectly illustrated why we always see tennis/golf these rich professional players want OG canceled.
  14. I just got vaccinated first shot today. I chose to get vaccinated because on the one hand over 80% Beijing adults (16 millions) finished two shots, on the other hand several local cases without identified origins reported these days. To protect myself also to build herd immunity for Winter OG, I did my job. Hopefully the coming winter season will be a wonderful one.
  15. May I ask is there a timetable writing when is the Quaterfinal/semifinal/final? Or just based on the serial number of 101-116/201-209 and guessing the time? @MHSN
  16. A kind of reward for accepting qualifier reallocation. All east asian countries gave up after the pandemic. If no country accepts it would be an even more controversial chaos like boxing.
  17. North Korea even announced withdrawal of 2023 FIFA Asian Cup in China recently. So I think they really mean it. But sending one or two athletes who always live aboard and has no plan come back to NK after OG is possible.
  18. Does anyone has entry list and schedule? I can find the youtube live channel but everything else is mystery.
  19. Two of the French girls competed both K2 and K4 on WCh so they got only 4 quotas(head counts). They are allowed to compete for 2 more.
  20. Gong Li finally finished the extremely long waiting period and secured the ticket.
  21. As east asian I can understand. Generally East Asian are quite cautious of the virus. It’s more like emotional burden not really medical resources collapse. Currently Taiwan have around 200 cases per day, they also went crazy. But I am always 100% confident OG will go ahead as scheduled. Another typical East Asian character is that we are superstisious. If the OG canceled, it would be seen as the fall of national fate and Japan’s future is screwed up.
  22. Yes I am Chinese citizen. I am in Beijing. Well I see you live in Chongqing, very good place.
  23. Nadal just convinced me that he will win Roland Garros again
