  1. It seems all confirmed to me and there are total 42 players. Do I get it right or any other pending issures?
  2. China - 408 (6 Archery - 52 Athletics - 8 Artistic Swimming - 14 Badminton - 12 Basketball - 8 Basket-Ball 3x3 - 4 Beach Volley - 6 Boxing - 3 Canoeing Slalom - 15 Canoeing Sprint - 2 Cycling Mountain Bike - 2 Cycling Road - 4 Cycling Track - 10 Diving - 6 Equestrian - 12 Fencing - 18 Football - 4 Golf - 12 Gymnastics Artistic - 5 Gymnastics Rythmic - 16 Hockey - 6 Judo - 2 Karaté - 4 Modern Pentathlon - 28 Rowing - 12 Rugby Sevens - 12 Sailing - 24 Shooting - 2 Skateboarding - 2 Sport Climbing - 30 Swimming - 1 Swimming Marathon - 6 Table Tennis - 6 Taekwondo - 5 Tennis - 4 Trampoline - 1 Triathlon - 12 Volleyball - 13 Water Polo - 8 Weighlifting - 11 Wrestling) I highlight the unofficial sports with yellow and the rest part is official, still 408 is the best estimate number. Athletics 52 is most probably correct based on Road to Tokyo list. I don't see any intention that we may give up any quotas including relays. Diving 10 may change due to double starter situation, ranging from 9-10. Swimming 30 may change due to relay consideration, ranging 30-33. Based on what I know China will not use maximum relay quotas. Other issue, boxing may receive a reallocation quota in M91+kg due to Australian withdrawal and China count water polo 13 quotas due to unclarity on the qualification document as well as Japan counted 13. China failed to exchange the unused men 10m air rifle quota so someone may receive this reallocation quota in coming days.
  3. Surprisingly China's Zhuang Shuai reject to play in Tokyo, So we don't have 6 women's full quotas. Somehow I admire her guts to do so and she will be the first Chinese professional athlete rejecting federation's call.
  4. I thought Iran must be satisfied. Iran is the obvious favorite of the group, even some unexpected things happened, still could be the 2nd.
  5. They are already frustrated on social media. Some Chinese fans think it a good draw while some think it a bad one. But all agree that better than Korea's.
  6. If one thinks current qualification system is not good, they can propose some discussion before the document released for next Paris period. Each member could propose some preferred system including taking results point into account only or purely by best performance raking. The fairness I refer to is that once the qualification process is confirmed, everyone should obey it. You can't process this system for almost 2-3 years but find that you may exclude/excluded on the last week then you say it's unfair I think it should be counted by Toplist ranking instead of Road to Tokyo ranking and I would be qualified based on that ranking list. Basically the fairness I mean is that no matter the qualification system good or bad. It should be implemented equally for everyone and it should not give wild card for someone yelling it's not fair and I would be qualified if based on another qualification system.
  7. It’s a common phenomenon for athletes who don’t travel a lot in the pandemic. China also have some talented athletes achieved some good result but not good enough to meet the standard directly in domestic meetings which is undervalued in E or F levels. If federation allowed them to go abroad to attend some higher level events during the pandemic they would have enough score to qualify. For example Wang Zhen, jumped 2.30m and 2.28m high this year both at F level events so failed to qualify through ranking. Standard is 2.33m which almost promises top6 in OG or WCh. I mean all these athletes knew the rules of WA at the very beginning. You either meet the extremely high standard directly or attend a lot of higher level events to collect enough points. That’s also the intention of WA to set the high standard to encourage more participation. You may argue it’s harsh especially in the pandemic, but it’s fair for everyone.
  8. I would call it human right quota if confirmed
  9. Out: Surfing, Modern Pentathlon, Rugby I will not add any new sports in. Just take care of the remaining ones.
  10. According to Japanese mainstream media, Japanese flag bearers NBA player Rui Hachimura and wrestler Yui Susaki.
  11. Claiming she's injured and declined it.We have some similar situation. We have 3 quotas in men's sprint kayaking but claiming we can attend all events, including K4. It confused fans but media just happily announced that we can attend all sprint canoeing events. I am looking forward to seeing how it ends.
  12. So what's the expected number of Men's and Women's single players respectively? If 38 players, that means 12 groups right?
  13. In Women 100m free Zhang will not attend. She achieved the result in prelims and quit finals so She isn’t selected and she just wanted to show competence in relay.
  14. Wow amazing goal again for Czech
  15. Sydney, Beijing, London. I prefer to give me chance for emerging economies. Just like Tokyo 1964, Seoul 1988 and Beijing 2008. Olympics play a important role for economy taking off and national confidence. I know Rio 2016 made fans somehow untrusted to emerging economies, still I would like to see more developing countries involved in hosting. India and Indonesia have big potential in 20 years. I will have a personal list for potential cities: Jakarta, Mumbai, Istanbul
  16. I see. It's not FIG after all. It's calculated by Qatari editor. Maybe we need to wait one more day to allow FIG to finished double check procedure.
  17. I think it's the editor of the account confused by the complicated rule. Let's just wait. By the way could you give me the link of that news.
  18. Not All Stages! If All stages, then that's not 15.334 for Petrounius! It's three counting exercises! Criteria 5 - 2018/2019 – 2019/2020 Individual Apparatus World Cup Series Each Apparatus In case of a tie on the FIG Olympic Qualification Apparatus ranking list, the rank will be determined by the following criteria: The final score of the three counting exercises will be added and the gymnast with the highest total score prevails The total E-score of the three counting exercises (6 scores for Vault) will be added and the gymnast with the highest total E-score prevails If they remain tied, the total D-score of the three counting exercises (6 scores for Vault) will be added and the gymnast with the highest total D-score prevails
  19. ???? I can't even be more confused! I am even not sure if Wen or You got the quota now!
  20. Fudan is top3 university in China and the best one in Shanghai, dream university for almost every Chinese student. Graduates from there are elites in China, quite jealous for me.
  21. Women's World Cup Quotas VAULT CAREY Jade UNEVEN BARS FAN Yilin BALANCE BEAM ASHIKAWA Urara FLOOR EXERCISE FERRARI Vanessa If pick Ferrari in team's list then this quota goes to MORI Lara.
  22. The second team injured and withdraw from the first match. So the first team have to win 2 games in a row every day.
