  1. I post this before and you could check previous pages
  2. official Men: Gao Tingyu(Speed Skating) Women: Zhao Dan(Skeleton) Obviously my previous guess is all wrong.
  3. My Guess for Gu Ailing(Freestyle Skiing) and Ning Zhongyan(Speed Skating) Unfortunately Sui Wenjing/Han Cong(Figure Skating) and Wu Dajing(Short Track Speed Skating) are scheduled with matches on the ceremony day, otherwise I may change my guess.
  4. Kamila Valieva W Figure Skating Ailing Eillen Gu W Freestyle Skiing Halfpipe Nils van der Poel M 10k speed skating ROC Team Figure Skating Chloe Kim W Snowboarding Halfpipe
  5. I am pretty sure some other nations will send ministers or ambassador/consul in China but the list is not yet released by Chinese authority so I don't have the source now.

  7. I haven't been to Alpine Skiing location before. It's mountainous suburb of Beijing. Based on my observation of downtown Beijing, heavy snowfall or fog are not quite likely to happen. Heavy winds may be possible but I think it would not be heavy enough to postpone the match.
  8. @Topicmaster1010's breakdown is quite right. I would say 7-8 golds are fair. 9-10 golds are possible considered host advantage. I voted 9-10 and I hope our athletes have a good performance at home.
  9. I just knew the ranking from the news and Geng ranked 3rd. But I don’t have know the finishing time and the video is not revealed.
  10. Oh there is one mistake. Jieke Kailiaosi refers to Jake Chelios. Yuan Junjie refers to Zach Yuen.
  11. Not that surprise for Chinese fans. Yin Zheng has fastest start in China also start time record holder on Sidulda. This advantage will be enlarged on home track given every contender is quite familiar with. He finished as second and Yan Wengang finished as first which is also not surprised. On previous national matches on this track, Yan Wengang usually finished as 1st and Geng Wenqiang even ranked 6th on the track. If it’s not the games at home, the quotas would be decided by world ranking I guess. But it’s a home games, so the quotas are solely decided by the performance on this track.
  12. https://olympics.com/beijing-2022/olympic-games/en/results/all-sports/athletes.htm All athletes information could be found on official website now.
  13. Kolyada is replaced by Semenenko due to Covid positive.
  14. I think it's the reason. You can only get a reallocation quota if not add an extra person.
  15. I have no idea about the jersey now. Me and this account shared the same source. Originally the whole lists of all players could be found on Olympic system already open for registered media staff.
  16. Team China I presume all players from Shenzhen KRS Vanke Rays, ZhHL Forwards: ZHANG Mengying FANG Xin ZHU Rui GUAN Yingying HE Xin Anna SEGDEI Madison WOO Dani CASTINO Leah LUM Rachel LLANES Taylor LUM Rebekah KOLSTAD Hannah MILLER Defencemen: YU Baiwei LIU Zhixin ZHAO Qinan LI Qianhua Camryn Elise WONG Anna FAIRMAN Jessica WONG Goaltenders: WANG Yuqing Tia CHAN Kimberly NEWELL
  17. Team China I presume all players from Kunlun Red Star, KHL Forwards: Brandon YIP Tyler WONG Spencer FOO Parker FOO Lucas LOCKHART Cory KANE Ethan WEREK YING Rudi YAN Juncheng ZHANG Zesen ZHONG Wei GUO Jianing XIANG Xudong Defencemen: Jake CHELIOS Ryan SPROUL Zach YUEN Jason FRAM Denis OSIPOV ZHENG Enlai CHEN Zimeng YAN Ruinan ZHANG Pengfei Goaltenders: Jeremy SMITH Paris O'BRIEN HAN Pengfei
  18. China list Men: Yin Zheng, Yan Wengang Women: Zhao Dan, Li Yuxi World Cup stage winner Geng Wenqiang also with highest rank in China lost the trials on Olympic track in Yanqing. Feeling sorry for him but I respect trials result.
  19. 4 Alpine Skiing: 2 Speed Skating: 1 Luge: 1
  20. It's time to make final guess and elaborate . Short Track Speed Skating: Men's 500m/1500m and Mixed relay with decent chance to win medals even gold medals. Women's and Men's relay are always with chance given the messy situation. To be realistic and consider the unpredictability of the discipline, 2 golds and 6 medals. Speed Skating: Men's 500m and 1500m are among gold medal contenders but with plenty rivals from US, Canada and always Netherland, also Men's 1000m also with slim chance of medal. As host, I decide to be a little optimistic, 1 gold and 2 medals. Figure Skating: Though Russian show great competence on ECH, Chinese pairs can win the gold if skate cleanly for both short and free programs. Also China also have slim chance on team event to win a bronze medal. Once again I'm optimistic as host, 1 gold and 1 medal. Freestyle Skiing: Aerials are quite unpredictable, Mixed team with greatest chance to win gold medal, Women's and Men's event are almost guaranteed with medals but the color is hard to predict. Super star Gu Ailing almost secures the Halfpipe gold, and also with 50% to win Big Air and 20% to win Slopestyle. In total I would guess, 3 golds and 6 medals. Snowboarding: Su Yiming proved his ability on Big Air already. And I see great potential on his Slopestyle, hopefully he succeed Backside 1980 on OG. And Cai Xuetong has capability to win a medal even though she can't compete Chloe Kim. 1 Gold and 2 medals. Skeleton/Bobsleigh/Curling: Hopefully at least one of these sports can make some surprise. 1 medal. My guess: 8 golds and 18 medals Pessimistic guess: 6 golds and 15 medals Optimistic guess: 10 golds and 20 medals
  21. most famous player Lee Zii Jia quits from national team and being a professional player. His move angers Malaysian badminton federation and it declared it will not help Lee register any BWF events for two years as long as it requires registration by national federation. But its decision is allow to appeal so I guess these two parts are still bargaining.
  22. Beijing WOG opening ceremony director Zhang Yimou said during an interview yesterday he hopes the ceremony will be less than 100 minutes, minimalist but classic.
