  2. Just discovered the video where Mayor of Messina now deploying drones which are equipped his recorded voice yelling at people "STATE A CASA!" is running through my mind
  3. I want to say something like this but I'm afraid it will backfire
  4. Indeed. Like in Indonesia, sometimes being humiliated is the best way to keep the order.
  5. If this is in Indonesia, some dumb people might thought it is inspired from hammer-and-sickle and people pouring over the road demanding it to be redesigned.
  6. No written rule but usually even the most Western aligned station will allocate at least 20% of their playlist slots for local songs. Outside Jakarta however you will find governors or mayors who insisted that local songs must be 60-70 % of the playlist slots.
  7. Record number in Indonesia: 103 new cases and 20 deaths
  8. Which is actually funnier since the actual Compendium entry for rhino horn is for curing fever, poisoning, and 'devil posession'
  9. BWF frozen their rankings, now we will wait for their solution about the qualification periods
  10. But nowadays more and more people believe that their doctor is random WhatsApp messages
  11. Not that sure about improved bidding process... Nowadays it's just raise of hands and no transparency whatsoever in order to save face from referendums
  12. I stopped giving any sympathy to him since that "breaking" and "e-sports" youthful stuff. If I had the power, I would push him from the tribune in any given chance during any opening ceremony.
  13. A bit of disturbung news here, some nurses/health workers are evicted from their rented rooms or shooed away when shopping. One example here: https://twitter.com/IdPunca/status/1242432787203764224?s=19
  14. Lemme ask you, have you read the real article instead of this random channel?
  15. So only one member fell to the trap Bali is in "lockdown" because today is Nyepi, a Balinese Hindu religious holiday. For 24 hours, the people have to stay in silence with 4 noes: no fire (and electricity), no working, no travelling, and no entertainment. Local security forces called pecalang are deployed to make sure people adhere to this. No flight/ship to or from Bali, only hospital and other emergency services are allowed to operate as normal. Kinda relevant to what is happening right now For the last few days everyone has been joking, that "Bali will be locked down!". Even journalists almost fooled the speaker of COVID-19 management team on live TV but luckily he realized that just in time
  16. Tomorrow Bali will be locked down...
  17. You know shit's getting real if North Korea had also reported about the doubts surrounding Tokyo 2020 with Bach in the picture
  18. Have you heard about the religious version of the comments?
  19. Of course it happens, what I am referring as dumb is that someone actually consider ranting for centuries of cultural exchange
  20. Very bad in here, I would say. People complained about how the government is not helping in providing the healthcare but they themselves can't follow official directions. Instead of practicing social distancing, many household believed that putting a clove of garlic in your pockets and around your house will shield you from the virus
  21. The problem is, Dutch words are slowly vanishing and replaced by English words. Ask any highschooler and they won't know what 'kastanye' is. And in 10 years I think there will be a dumb video on Youtube that rants about how the Dutch copied Indonesian words
  22. I believe you understand these keywords: apotek, kantor, suster and besuk Or if you want to talk about food: wortel, frambos, kastanye
  23. Hmm so to give you more insight: PDP means a sick person under surveillance. As of now, those who are back from Europe (both the senior and junior team) are quarantined in the national badminton center dorms. They still train regularly but separated with those who did not go to Europe. So PBSI did have their measures and they tried to have their players & coaches tested BUT this country stupidly prioritized those limited test kits to parliament members. You can't just abruptly send symptomatic people to any hospital too since there are only a few designated hospital to handle any suspect, it's a long wait both for suspects and those who are being tested. Yes, we are not ready at all and the mindset of average people here are not helping at all. The way how Indonesians react to the virus is able to make any Italian mayor ranting for 7 days straight and die from high blood pressure.
