Legally, is simple, but the Constitutional Court does not want to hear the case again, because it means removing the corrupted current board.  All government has been taken by corruption because they found a gold mine in it. Too sad. Maybe next year when new government takes office in January.

I actually live in Guatemala now and some of the people here are very upset over this. The country just went through some civil unrest earlier this month due to some corruption in government, and the people are getting really sick of it. It's so sad that the athletes have to pay for the corruption of the government.

Big day for Canada who thanks to badminton won 8 gold medals, the same as the United States. This moved them to second place overall. Mexico and Brazil accounted for four golds a piece. In fact, the top 4 nations won 24/28 events. The Dominican Republic was able to win one of those few gold medals and move ahead of Argentina. Similarly Ecuador moves into the top 10, displacing Venezuela.

Saltos Ornamentais é como o Levantamento de Peso. Quando a gente pensa que o Brasil tá melhorando vem um Pan e os resultados são pífios.

Um bom dia, mas abaixo do esperado. Natação e Ginástica terminaram com um ouro a menos do que eu tinha previsto. Um pouco triste que todos os esportes que terminaram até agora não chegaram ao potencial máximo de ouros, à exceção do Skate que ganhou os 2 previstos.
 
O ouro no Remo compensou um pouco pois não acreditava nessa medalha. Amanhã será nosso dia mais fraco, na torcida para garantir algumas finais do Boxe.

Saltos Ornamentais
 
Eu esperava muito mais do Brasil, o desempenho ficou muito abaixo. Apenas uma medalha numa prova em que não tínhamos grandes expectativas, e vagas olímpicas em disputa, mas que passaram muito longe. Os desempenhos no trampolim de 3 metros foram terríveis, alguns nem para a final avançaram.
 
Hipismo - Adestramento
 
Excelente campanha do Brasil, prata por equipes e no individual, além da vaga olímpica garantida (esperamos que sim, desta vez). O João tá evoluindo muito, vi um post hoje falando que ele competiu com o cavalo reserva, e fez marca que daria TOP 10 nos últimos jogos. Acredito que ele pode melhorar ainda mais até Paris. Ainda não dá pra pensar em medalha olímpica, mas dá pra ver que a evolução nesta modalidade está acontecendo.
 
Ginástica Artística
 
De modo geral eu gostei da participação brasileira. Acredito que toda a equipe não tava muito focada para a competição, tanto que a Rebeca decidiu não competir no Individual Geral e no Solo. Algumas pratas poderiam ter sido ouros, o que ajudaria bastante no quadro de medalhas. De toda forma, o foco são os Jogos Olímpicos. O Nory tentou pegar a vaga olímpica mas não deu, agora é focar na disputa por aparelhos nas copas, para pegar a última vaga.
 
Remo
 
Eu já esperava o ouro do Verthein, apesar de não ter certeza que viria. Ele é de longe o melhor das Américas na sua prova. Ainda conseguimos uma prata então o saldo foi positivo. Mas, esse é um esporte que o Brasil poderia se destacar muito mais! Pensar que alguns de nossos clubes de futebol nasceram do Remo, e levam o nome do esporte até hoje. 
 
Natação
 
Bom, depois do péssimo Mundial, e os  e  enviando times melhores, já era esperado que o desempenho não fosse grande coisa. Ainda assim, acho que terminou dentro do esperado, uma decepção aqui, uma surpresa lá. A evolução da natação feminina é evidente, e liderada pela Balduccini, mas todas ainda parecem um pouco distante da briga olímpica. Esperar o mundial do ano que vem pra vermos o que podemos esperar do Brasil nas Olimpíadas.
