    It’s the same everywhere: hours are very restricted so no broadcaster wants to waste them. Hence more talk than action on the BBC.

    What to watch, what to watch….. First morning. Badminton to start, then the v Men’s volleyball & the First Medal in the Shooting. Rowing & swimming are fine, but best watched on catchup with the FF button for the dull bits. We are officially…….GO! V match on Court 1 the only one with Commentary.

    Watched a bit more this morning. Galloping horse was effective but like everything else went on too long. Also, as usual all the people commemorated were mere political bloviators & not people who had actually done anything like scientists, inventors, doctors etc etc.
