  1. Not bad, could be a lot worse. But OMG why does get such an easy one compared to ours?
  2. Yeah overall I think it was a solid year, lots of ups and downs, surprises and disappointments, and new talent coming in as well. Overall I do expect a lot of things in a few months, def looks as tho we'll do a lot better in terms of medals than Beijing. It's really nice to see how well curling has rebounded after the state it was several years ago. As for hockey? Well... "We don’t have any words and we know you don’t want to hear them. We understand your anger, your frustration, your sadness. Everything you’re feeling – we get it. This isn’t the ending we imagined, and certainly not the one we wanted. Thank you for being there the entire way." (what HC should've said after the loss a few days ago for humour lol)
  3. With this win, also win the IIHF Triple-Triple of 2025. World Juniors, Women's Worlds, and Men's Worlds
  4. Well either way, to say it's not a fun year for Canadian hockey is not enough. Only golds came from our U18 teams, on the men and women side. 4 Nations was also a great success for us. Asides from that though, yikes. World Juniors? Disaster (Never let Dave Cameron coach again) Women's Worlds? Outcoached in OT Men's Worlds? Today's all you really need
  5. Well, um, the men's tourneys always didn't really matter too much and it's not really something we can massively have big takeaways from. Lots of players turn down opportunities to play in this if they don't want to. But still
  6. Silver for the Canadian women in the 2025 Worlds Crazy game, really coulda gone either way, but yea shame just one mistake ended up leading to the GWG
  7. Worlds roster this year
  8. Ann-Renee Desbiens suffered an injury in a game yesterday and had to leave early... Tough blow for the women in the upcoming Worlds, who've already lost Emmerance Maschmeyer to injury as well. Goalies are gonna be questionable for this year.
  9. Yea skaters switching countries isn't really an unusual thing. A lot of this happens when they're trying better to go for international competitions. Either way I do feel Skate Canada needs some sort of change in leadership because whatever Mike Slipchuk or whoever is running this org is doing is not working. It's just been the same thing behind the scenes for the past few years.
  10. Silver and Bronze for Deanna Stellato-Dudek & Maxime Deschamps as well as Lia Pereira & Trennt Michaud at the Four Continents Figure Skating Championships! Great start so far
  11. The sooner we host something the better ig lol
  12. Women are Rivalry Series champions for another consecutive year following a 3-1 win in Game 5! Now onto the men with the upcoming 4 Nations Face-Off...
