  2. Oh wow. Lithuanian girl is first in Junior Women's 25m Pistol aftr precision round. Maybe we finally have a future in this sport...
  3. Sad for last time they been in Olympics it was 2000 and they deserved the spot. Anyways, congrats
  4. 5-5. getting more exiting
  5. 5-4... Just imagine if turns this one around after losing the entire game.
  6. Turkish girl screw up so badly. From 5-1 it went to 5-5.

  8. Only 69 countries overall. 6 less than in 2014
  9. And limiting her possibility to qualify for Tokyo by not obtaining any ranking points...
  10. Archery: 0, can't expect anything with corrupted archery federation. Artistic Swimming: 0, not a very competitive sport here and 99% of practicing girls comes from the same pool/team. Athletics: Very hard to predict. Probably something around 20 athletes. Badminton: We do have some good young talent, but I doubt they going to make it - 0 Baseball: Not a chance to compete with NED or ITA Basketball: Really hope for men's team in Tokyo. If FIBA do not make any more stupid decision by banning players from enetiring tournaments based on the leagues they participate in. Beach Volleyball: Some good young talents, but they likely not going to make it. Boxing: Should grab a few quatas (at least one). A bit harder to predict as our ladies are quite weak. Canoeing - Slalom: 0. Nobody cares about it. Canoeing - Sprint: They removed all events we ever won medals in.... So now we hope to qualify MC1-1000, MK1-200, MK2-1000, MK4-500. Cycling - BMX: Lithuania not going to finish high enough in the rankings, very small chance in individual qualifying tournament. Cycling - Mountain Bike: Some hope with Katažina Sosna. She would be the first ever LTU MTB rider. Cycling - Road: We are at our lowest level ever.... Best chance - 2 men and 1 lady. Cycling - Track: Hope to perform in women's sprint/keirin, women's omnium and men's keirin Diving: 0, level is not quite there and our divers will stay at the bottom during the qualifiation. Equestrian: 0, just not at the same level as the rest. Fencing: 0, could compete with canoeing slalom for most unpopular sport in the country. Field Hockey: 0 Football: 0 Golf: 0, popular activity, but not a popular sport.... Gymnastics - Artistic: 1 men for sure +1 lady if we are lucky Gymnastics - Rhythmic: 0 Gymnastics - Trampoline: 0 Handball: 0 Judo: 3 if we are lucky, but most likely to have one girl in +78kg category. Karate: 0 Modern Pentathlon: 0-4, everybody can make it. Hopefully all 4 spots. Rowing: they are trying new groupings so we will see which categories they will choose to compete in. I think something between 2-10 rowers. Rugby Sevens: 0 Sailing: 1 in Laser Radial for sure + 2 more (men's laser and men's RS:X) if lucky Shooting: 1 quata as always. I bet this time it might be young lady in Skeet competition. Skateboarding: 0, don't even have federation for it. Softball: 0 Sport Climbing: 0 Surfing: Hahahahahhahahaha..... Swimming: Hopefully at least 4. If everything is going to go well - then up to 10. Table Tennis: 0. Taekwondo: 0. Tennis: 1 if Berankis makes it again Triathlon: 0 Volleyball: 0 Water Polo: 0 Weightlifting: 1 if we have anyone without the doping Wrestling: 0-4
  11. Even though qualified for 2019 European Championships in July 2017 - the rules were changed after that and had to battle for qualification. Unfortunately without the main players were destroyed and our ECH debut won't be happening.
  12. won over in the first qualification match for WCH 19. We haven't been that close to qualification for a while now, it would be so cool to see Lithuanian handball team in World Champs after 22 years.
  13. Team Lithuania Vadim Korobov (MC1-200, MC1-1000) Osvaldas Murza (MC2-1000) Jevgenijus Kuračionokas (MC2-1000) Artūras Sėja (MK1-200) Aurimas Lankas (MK4-500) Edvinas Ramanauskas (MK4-500) Mindaugas Maldonis (MK4-500) Simonas Maldonis (MK4-500) Ričardas Nekrošius (MK2-1000) Anrej Olijnik (MK2-1000) Gabrielė Čerepokaitė (WK1-200)
  14. Following story of Lithuanian Police investigating doping in Lithuanian Weightlifting Federation, Lithuanian Anti-Doping Agency provided information that some of doping might had been supplied from Lithuanian Cycling Federation associates. Yesterday Criminal Centre of Klaipėda District pressed charged on two cycling coaches for possessing doping substances and supplying it to others. Antanas Jakimavičius and Solveiga Baleišytė - both are now in jail. Both of them was working with national team members of Track Cycling. (although both stripped from their coaching licenses at the moment) training Olivija Baleišytė (World Junior Record holder and daughter of Solveiga), Kristina Kazlauskaitė, Lithuanian Junior Girls National team. Lithuanian Cycling Federation announced that they are working closely with WADA and cyclists who worked with these coaches had to do doping test and are under the radar during investigation. Lithuanian Olympic Committee condemned recent situation and expressed their support for investigations. Article with video of substances are here: https://www.15min.lt/sportas/naujiena/kita/dviraciu-dopingo-skandalas-ant-ko-krinta-seselis-26-973156

  17. FINALLY!!! Wonderful day for our sport. It was so obvious - almost every single lifter that was trained by him wa coughed using doping. 5 cases just last year! In the article you can also see official video from Klaipėda District Organised Criminal Activity Search Authority Youtube page with all of the substances that was. Creepy how much of different kind of doping he had. Man right now is in jail and likely to get 4 years behind the bars according to Lithuania's law. Also Lithuanian Weightlifting Federation will have to face the law as well.
  18. YAY!!!! Maybe now something will be done with national coach in Lithuanian Weightlifting Federation who's son tested positive twice and who was also a cough for every single weightlifter that was sanctioned in Lithuania... It's the most corrupted federation in Lithuania's history.
  19. Currently it doesn't seem that anyone wants to give up a spot in women's halfpipe which is a tragedy since first country for rellocation is
  20. So the marathon of confirming the quotas started. Sill a long way to go, but we already have some rejections: Ski Cross: rejected one female spot. It should go to Halfpipe: rejected one male spot. It should go to
