  1. It will be very difficult to get promoted in our case then. With each edition these qualifications become more and more difficult in most sports.
  2. https://fisi.org/lannuncio-di-wierer-continuo-fino-a-milano-cortina-2026/
  3. In my opinion Romania has made more progress in recent years under the work of Italian coaches than we did under Franco Cattaneo. I don't know if any changes are needed but we definitely need more money to compete with the Netherlands or the UK. Romania shows that it is possible
  4. In my opinion only Ukraine is out of reach even in our form is close to the previous World Champ. However, we have too many injuries and changes. Some rowers also go to study in the USA and there is no continuation of work. In your opinion we are greater chances for advance in W2-?
  5. Italians in Tokyo 2021 they replaced a rower in M4- due to Covid - a few hours before the final and they had a bronze medal.
  6. I'm hope that Italy will advance in: M1x: Mumolo, M4-: Lodo, Vicino, Abagnale, Kohl, LW2x: Rodini- Cesarini W8: Pelacchi, de Filippis, Gnatta, Rocek, Codato, Terrazzi, Mondelli, Bumbaca, Capponi. In M8: USA and Canada will be favourite then Italy. In W2- I have no idea what English-Hawke/Meriano can do. I'm a bit surprised that we don't send W4x. From what I heard: Guerra/Gobbi are will prepared for W2x and maybe that's why. In a situation where Rodini-Cesarini will start in LW2x, Buttignon-Crosio will be reserves in the lightweight category - I remind you that these two advanced to the World Championships in W2x.
  7. Men: M1x: Ita, Gbr or Rom. M4-: Italy and Switzerland, 8-: Two for Italy/Can/USA
  8. In LW2x two places will be taken by someone from 3: ITA, FRA, GRE. Each of these crew has almost the same chances and it will be a very close race. Whoever emerges victorious from this fight can win a medal in Paris. WX4: Ukraine and Fra/Can/USA. Italian women don't send a crew here. W8: Italy and Ger/Chn.
  9. As far as I know, Crosio is not injured. There are 4 equal lightweight rowers: Rodini, Cesarini, Crosio and Buttignon. The final training sessions were supposed to decide which team would go to Lucerne and apparently the gold duo from Tokyo was selected. Even if he advances, changes are possible for the Olympics.
  10. How would you rate the Conyedo-Baran fight? When was the last time this Valiev from Albania fought somewhere?
  11. It also seemed to me when looking through the starting lists that Burgo had the best chance to advancing. Can you write his most dangerous rivals tomorrow for these 2 places?
  12. Does Tacchini also have can to start in c-1? Despite everything, I was counting on one qualification in k-1 or k-2. Maybe tomorrow Burgo? Unfortunately, Italy lost heavily by withdrawing the k-1 200 from the Olympic program.
  13. In the case of Italy, we had Rizzo, the 200-meter medalist from Tokyo for k-1, who was unable to adapt to the 500 meters and will not go to the Olympics. However, there are no young successors. What's the point of winning medals among juniors or U-23s if we can't transfer it to senior sport later? The result will be that in the kayak sprint we will send two people in c2-500 to Paris... Not much When you remember the times and names such as Rossi-Bonomi or Josefa Idem, it makes me heart sad
  14. The Netherlands is a powerhouse in rowing, so nothing stops you from investing in kayaks. You can choose similar places to train. Here it is more necessary to attract training ideas from abroad, which should not be a problem considering the large financial resources in Dutch sport. It frustrates me that Italy has given up on kayaking, which once brought us many Olympic medals but the problem is that there is still too little money for olympics sports sports in our country.
  15. Italy will started also in: LW2x, M1x and probably in W4x or W2-.
  16. And there is her after 60 years in San Remo 2024. Still phenomenally beautiful and singing beautifully. No botox, fake breasts or lips.
  17. In this competition, only the winner counts for me. There are no silver and bronze medals here. For me this competition has long lost its magic and shine.
  18. That's true. Those were wonderful times and not just because I was young and life was simpler.
  19. In the case of saber, the problem was already visible at last year's World Championships and, in fact, the team's 2 qualifications should be considered a success. For the women a team miss QO of 99% would mean 0 people in Paris and there was a high risk of this happening. For men, we still have to count on Samele and Curatoli.
  20. For me it's at least +1 mixed team, but I'm counting on a men's team. It's a pity that Asia's QO was taken over by low-ranking Kazakhstan, rather than India or Taiwan. This sport has become so competitive lately that basically anyone can beat anyone. The second thing is that before Tokyo that I remember 6-7 teams qualified from the World Championships and now only the medalists and Italy were left with nothing - 4th place.
  21. Looking at individual performances, the Netherlands will be the favorite for team gold and Olympic qualifications. I know it's archery, but it looks that way on paper. So the only thing left for Italy is the world runner-up or ranking (for now we are in 3rd place), so you can also root for e.g. India or Taiwan. However, it is all or nothing, because if our team does not enter, we may have a 0 in men's archery in Paris! Then we can't enter a mixed team either and we have 1 individual chance for women. Drama, since we had as many as 2 medals in Tokyo... Do I understand these rules correctly?
  22. If the team does not advance, there is a high risk that we will have 0 people in men's archery in Paris
  23. I think that Italy needs to improve its result in the mixed relay a bit at the European Championships in Rome to be sure of moving up the rankings.
  24. I hope not. They deserved for QO.
