  1. No, I don't like prediction of scorers/assists mixed with results prediction. Especially not if the competition has already started.
  2. So.. your professor advocated for relativism Not that it is a bad thing.
  3. Everyone that wins a lot in: athletics, swimming, cycling, Weightlifting, Canoeing or rowing is very suspicious to me. Sorry.
  4. I'm convinced every summer olympics' top 10 medaling nation (+Norway for WOG) has similar secret programs.
  5. Absolutely obvious wild cards. Only two other decent options were Serbia or Macedonia but no profit for IHF there.
  6. Finished Dark at last. Yet another Netflix series that should have been finished in less episodes. Liked it better at the beginning when it was a darker Back to the future than at the end when it became a sugared version of Rick & Morty. Didn't like the whole star-crossed lovers theme of the protagonists (had me rolling eyes all the time), but at least they went for a bittersweet ending.
  7. Lol the average gamer in 2020 is anything but progressive. More like the opposite.
  8. Oh yeah, you watched korean archers winning the individual events?, now you can watch them win even more easily in the team event (btw by "team" we just mean an addition of their individual performances). Super fun.
  9. Happiest day in my life will be when each and every team event of an individual sport is scrapped.
  10. So, I'm the second biggest lefty in the forum after olympian, no surprise. Btw that question that correlates your concept of art to your political compass is very ideological on itself Economic Left/Right: -7.25 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.03
  11. Wtf Of course, because when you mature you watch sport all day and post in a forum 10 times a day
  12. Both sports make constant substitutions. It would be bad for player's health to reduce 1 in handball (7 on court players with 6 of them running from end to end) and terrible to take 1 from hockey (11 players out of which 7/8 run box-to-box all game). I would argue that it would be worse to take a quota from these sports than from basketball.
  13. Softball: Basketball: Men's field hockey: Women's field hockey: Men's volleyball Women's volleyball:
  14. These protests shouldn't have any influence in the outcome of the trial for the murder of this man. They are completely irrelevant for the case.
  15. Came to see what the opinions here were and was not surprised to see heywoodu, Federer more worried about tvs being stolen lol
  16. All my posts for when the shooting prediction contest is opened: "Any other" "Someone from China" "Any other"
  17. aaah the shirts. I have had only two original (=non counterfeit) football shirts in my life, Argentina 98 and Holland 06 (the one with the collar, something unusual for nike).
  18. I remember pretty well. I think I went to two group games and the final. Very nice tournament with many goals and stars. There were also Essien, Muntari, Kaká, Adriano.
  19. Every video game community of everything is toxic, except those that are simply too small to lure toxic people in.
  20. Yes, when I was little I was playing Pokemon all day, both TCG and video game (we are talking about 1998-2001, around that time). I think I still have a deck somewhere, even some of those promotional cards that were given by buying other stuff or going to events.
  21. I suggest leaving this thread as it is and letting everyone who wishes to participate here post whatever they want. Making any sort of contest, poll or something would "spoil" a part of the fun of the prediction contests next year. In particular those contests where you have to predict only medalists.
  22. No, we can't say the same about every sport. In women's football we know perfectly well that all teams will take their best available players. Of course we can make a much better prediction for it compared to men's. Same with a lot of other sports.. volleyball, handball, rowing, canoeing, etc. On the other hand there is sports like Men's football, men's basketball, baseball, tennis, golf, etc with more uncertainty of who will show up as a start. But you already know all this, I don't know why you found my statement controversial
  23. Serbia with nothing in the WP... no. Table: Italy up (already argued it). Netherlands down a bit (this is even more than totallympics medal table and no, those numbers are already ridiculous). Turkey less golds, Ireland less medals. One or two more gold for Serbia and India. (this is just my opinion)
  24. Anything can happen in that football competition tbh, the squads could be anything. No prediction we make now matters because clubs can do whatever they want and not all teams will prepare with the same seriousness. I can easily see a properly prepared team like Japan beating a powerhouse with their B squad and one week of training together. Btw Salah chance of playing is low with the afcon being next year.
