    Well, let’s say it was 11:00 am for me, so I was trying to still be optimistic. 12 hours later, I still mantain they’re not bad, just different of what we have been used to, that is anthropomorphic images.

    I think this event might even be scrapped. Apart from USA and Brazil, Canada is the only other country that has competed in the event during this cycle. Argentina last competed 3 years ago and not have made a comeback. That leaves only 3 crews, plus the hosts, competing, which is not enough for the event to be considered official. I’m guessing probably a late Argentinian return or a US crew posing as Puerto Rican or US Virgin Islands could be added to save face.

    I don’t like the “reverse/mirror” thing. It made them a little bit confusing. Other than that I think they can say they made something different. Although artistic swimming could be a little sexist or non inclusive, coming from the “progressive” IOC leadership

    Why not? They’re the team with best xG at the tournament. On a side note, congrats to Canada for their first WC goal. I think if development continues, you’ll be the best host team 4 years from now.

    To be fair, the first one is the official one when not used by State civil institutions or the military, which is very curious as it is a country without a formal army or navy, so why actually allocate a symbol to non existent institutions?

    One of the main Mexican channels put 5 today, and it’s rival has always 3. Needless to say, is more a circus than a proper and interesting broadcast. Only radio stations have decent coverage of football matches in Mexico.

    Not difficult this time, they have no strategy at all. It seems that moron Martino told them to just hold the scoreless draw during halftime. But even when a deserved victory for Argentina, they still need to better their attack. With all the power they have, this should have been like 4-5 to nil.
