  1. And another gold for Mexico, most probably the last one for the day.
  2. Gold and world record for Amalia Perez
  3. Two more medals for Mexico, a silver in javelin throw and a gold in judo I hope they can earn another one tomorrow
  4. First medal for Mexico
  5. Well, of course Vinicius... he just looks so happy and confident with it, no pose, no effort, pure & natural glamour
  6. Well, his Spanish is fine; I don't mind his accent, because it's really difficult to speak another language without an accent, it requires not only hability but also to live among native speakers to actually "talk" like them. So @LDOG don't you dare judge his accent You know as well as me that we both also would "butcher" the language according to Spaniards. Also, his italian and french sounded rather good, or at least a better than me when I try to speak in those languages
  7. I would vote to dissapear the Eights... I know it's an historical boat, but come on, there are less than 10 countries that have active crews in them, not to count that because of the size it will hard to see more than eight boats featured in the Olympics.
  8. Well to be honest, the number of medals surpassed my expectations. Apart from Espinoza and Gonzalez, everyone else was an outsider in their events, so still I'm happy, especially with today's medals in diving and pentathlon. I was hoping for Brazil to finish in top ten, but the number of medals its competitors won its just great. I just wish you have a great time during your trip to the Games
  9. First gold medal of the Games for Azerbaijan and a nice silver for Abdoulrazak of Niger
  10. And China wins the fight in women's 67+ I'm a little sad for Espinoza, but now she has one medal of each color, and her third Olympics with a metal. Congratulations to her!
  11. Two terrible finals, in terms of marks, but I'm glad to see Beitia winning gold before she retires, a second medal for Bulgaria and a bronze for Vlasic.
  12. And bronze for Galloway
  13. Congratulations for your bronze... although I'm worried about the number
  14. Centrowitz Makhloufi Souleiman
  15. Congratulations to Brazil for finally winning the Olympic Gold in football
  16. Exactly like that! Let's see if Espinoza can win that gold.
  17. I agree almost in everything, except on that mixed event.
  18. Indeed a fantastic finish, even when she the judges scored him a little low in that last dive. Hopes he gets better and better
  19. I know, afte 14 days, the Mexican competitors decide to show their stenght and pride.
  20. Bronze for Hernandez and Mexico The third medal of the day... what a spirit, he did great in this competition. Say what you want, but this guy has been the best from the American continent for the last two years and today he proved that.
  21. Well, I know, but Judo has all 7 and with a lot more competitors per category.
  22. And the Chinese wins... Milica
  23. German Sanchez another medal for Mexico; his second Olympic medal, he gets it not failing a single dive
  24. To be fair with other combat sports, all 8 categories should be in. Or at least ask them to reduce them to 6
