  1. Gender equality... same amount of men/women competitors... tragic indeed
  2. Well, I'm not @thiago_simoes, but Canada should fight for the podium in women's team, and I'd expect Ukraine to clinch men's title.
  3. Purdue men are good, but I can't say they are sure gold medalists.
  4. I think we can safely assume that in Women, and most probably are going to qualify, due to Argentina and Chile winning their spots in the 2018 South American Games. Meanwhile, disaster performance by both Mexican teams, men especially, as they now have to play 2019 Pan Am challenge ; not only that, but both squads must earn at least silver at next year's Central American and Caribbean Games in order to be in Lime
  5. X 2 I was hoping Rivera could join his brother as World Championships medalist in field events and establish a new NR, but well I'm glad Ghazal got a place in the podium.
  6. Indeed, I don't like them in athletics (Ibargüen being the sole exception) or cycling, as they're blatant cheaters (of course, within the rules)
  7. Perez was from Ecuador. Good finish for Bonfim, probably upgraded to silver in a few years.
  8. Go Caio He's my favorite from the leaders
  9. Mexico will attend with 293 competitors (mostly in team sports). Flagbearer will be Olympian Itzel Manjarrez (TKD)
  10. At last, one Mexican athlete surviving the qualifications
  11. I would expect USA to be given the 7th spot... btw what an amazing result for US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico... on the other hand, terrible performance by Mexico, Colombia and Cuba in particular.
  12. A little misinterpretation of the rules on my part
  13. Venezuela withdrew from Men's Youth Championships and will be replaced by Poland.
  14. Well, of course I meant life ban, only after giving the accused the chance to validly defend themselves, with prosecutors following every single legal and technical aspect of the process. It was a shame what happened to our best fencer last year, with our own federation excluding her from Rio because of a false and dubious positive.
  15. Wow, just wow... the incredible capacity of ridicule defense hypothesis just grows bigger. End this once and for all: suspend dopers for life!!
  16. 2017 World Rowing Junior Championships Quotas Girls Single Sculls (top 5 JW1x) (top 2 JW2x) (top JW4x) Reallocation: Girls Pairs (top 5 JW2-) (top 2 JW4-; Romania finished second, but they had a better placement in JW2-) (top JW8+) Reallocation: Boys Single Sculls (top 5 JM1x) (top 2 JM2x) (top JM4x) Reallocation: Boys Pairs (top 5 JM2-; New Zealand finished fifth, but they had a better placement in JM4-) (top 2 JM4-) (top JM8+) Reallocation:
  17. Though luck for Canada in this champs
  18. Great result for the Netherlands... Is this the best athlete you've had in long distance?
  19. Of course not, she classy let Ayana pass her... she's second to last in the rankings, she was passed a little before the 7000m mark
  20. Ayana Mexican athlete got her 10 seconds of stream, thanks to being lapped
  21. And the winner of the contest for 2019 PanAm Games is... Not the one I liked the most, but I guess this seems more "Peruvian"
