  14. @Surlympics Yes, but FIBA has a complicated qualification format for 3X3, which qualifies NOCs through federation rankings. They’ll have two chances to qualify for Paris next year, the first being through the UOQT2 (8 teams competing, 1 quota awarded), and the second being through the OQT (16 teams competing, 3 quotas awarded)
  15. Men’s table tennis team qualifies by winning silver at the ITTF Pan American Table Tennis Championships!
  16. Well, as it turns out, I actually made a mistake. Canada beat out both Puerto Rico and Chile on games won.
  17. And, match over. Oh well, wasn’t expecting anything anyways.
  18. Simeón Martin is playing Nicolas Burgos (Men’s singles silver medalist) in the final match… And, that’s our Olympic chances over. Don’t know why they went with him over Wang.
  19. Ly was 10-5 up in game 3, couple of minutes later… 10-12. Sigh.
  20. Canada’s men’s team is playing Chile right now at the ITTF Pan American Table Tennis Championships, win the tie and we’ll go 3-1 (only loss to Brazil) and qualify for Paris! (definitely not something i would’ve had in my bingo card) Both Chile and Canada have won one match each, with Eugene Wang up 2-0 on Gustavo Gomez (8-6 in game 3) in the third
