  1. DL Final in Eugene, Oregon just finished. Overall, a great showing. 10. Yes, Netherlands may not have played their best game, but I have no doubt that they'll rebound from this loss. Wasn't exactly pleased with Canada's performance either, despite the win. Pissed off with our efforts during sets 2 and 3, we really struggled to kill the ball. Of course, it didn't help that Netherlands were on fire. Anyways, if we want to qualify for the Olympics, we'll need to play much better than we did today. Best of luck to you as well @CCB
  11. OH CANADA Canada started the Women's Volleyball Olympic Qualifiers on a winning note, defeating Netherlands 3-2 (32-30, 19-25, 15-25, 25-17, 15-13) Pretty poor performance from them in sets 2 and 3, surprised that they managed to find something in the end (they were also down 8-10 in set 5) Celestine Plak led Netherlands with 23 points (17 attacks, 4 blocks, 2 aces), while Nika Daalederop scored 21 points (20 attacks, 1 block). For Canada, Alexa Gray led with 28 points (26 attacks, 2 blocks), with Kiera Van Ryk tallying up 19 points (18 attacks, 1 block). Brie King MVP though IMO, she made some huge digs and had some excellent set choices. Up next, at 10:00PST/1:00AM EST
  12. Well yeah, but whenever Canada goes to 5, they most likely lose.
  13. Yep. This one is done and dusted, folks. Oh well, maybe LA 2028?
  14. @CCB congrats. Think the Netherlands have got this one in the bag.
  15. Absolutely pathetic start to set three as the Netherlands take a 5-2 lead.
  16. 18-11 in set two for Netherlands over Canada
  17. You're leading 10-6 in set 2, and momentum can change really quickly, this match is far from over. Edit: 14-8 now.
