  2. Payton Otterdahl with a new PB of 22.59m in men’s shot put at the Drake Relays!
  3. Same for Canada in men’s breaking.
  4. Just another disaster of an event.

  6. Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but just making sure that there’s a medal race tomorrow for NACRA 17?
  7. Here’s my schedule for this week. NHL (Playoffs, mainly Canucks v. Predators. Game three from 4:30-7:15 PM on April 26, Game four from 2:30-5:15 PM on April 28, Game five from 7:00-9:45 PM (probably) on April 30), Athletics (Suzhou Diamond League from 4:00- 6:00 AM on April 27), Beach Volleyball (Elite16 Uberlandia starting May 1, and the finals of the Brazilian circuit in Tapa), Tennis (Madrid Open), 3x3 Basketball (Universality Olympic Qualifying Tournament 2), Fencing (European Olympic Qualifier), Football (AFC U23 Cup), Judo (American & Oceania Championships), Sledge Hockey (World Championships), Triathlon (World Cup Chengdu) No Mixed Doubles Curling World Championships, as it’s not streaming in Canada, and I’m not paying Recast to watch it (nor watching a million ads). No Para Swimming European Championships either, too many event conflicts. I’ll also be following along with the results of the Archery World Cup Shanghai, Beach Volleyball Challenge Xiamen, Sailing French Regatta, and any athletics/swimming meets I can find.
  8. This was on Tuesday, but I forgot to share this save of the year candidate by Bobrovsky @Topicmaster1010 @hckošice you’re gonna want to see this one.
  9. Not really. Omanyala seems much more likeable as a person.
  10. American/Oceanian Championships start on Saturday. No Klimkait or Beauchemin-Pinard, but otherwise all of our big names are competing.
  11. Too cocky, and has way too big of an ego for my liking. Not saying you can’t be confident, but if you’re going to talk the talk at least back it up. Sure, he did win the three gold medals he said he was going to win in Budapest, but he also said he was going 9.65 in the 100m, 19.10 in the 200m, and a WR in the 4x100m relay. He was nowhere close to those times, going 9.83 in the 100m and 19.52 in the 200m, along with being about a half second off the WR in the 4x100m relay. In 2022, Lyles was talking about how United States would be guaranteed gold if he was on the 4x100m relay. He was on the squad, but had a bad handoff and it wasn’t a great leg of running by him either. Overall, he just seems to be such a dick. Props to him for the “World champions of what?” comment though.
  12. I must be alive then. Him, along with Sha’Carri Richardson are my least favourite athletes in athletics probably. (If anyone is curious, I also don’t like Tom Dean in swimming, Thiago Seyboth Wild/Stefanos Tsitsipas/Beatriz Haddad Maia/Jelena Ostapenko in tennis, and Ana Patricia in beach volleyball)
  13. Everything. Well except breaking (preliminary rounds/quarterfinals), golf, rhythmic gymnastics, equestrian, and artistic swimming
  14. Kadriana Lott/Colton Lott improve to 6-1, after a 10-4 win over China! Closing in on a playoff spot.
  15. Looks like it’ll be no ICLA 7 Olympic quota for Canada for the first time ever.
  16. Wide rosters have been released. https://en.volleyballworld.com/volleyball/competitions/volleyball-nations-league/teams/men/
  17. Women’s 3x3? They have no chance at qualifying for the Olympics IMO.
