  1. 52.70 for Sydney McLaughlin in the women’s 400m hurdles at the Ed Moses Legends Meet
  2. Canada lose 3-1 to Serbia, and are now 0.03 points behind Netherlands for the final Olympic quota. 4-3 record as well. Worst match of VNL for us. So many easy digs that resulted in Serbian kills. That’s what happens when your two best players are nonexistent, Van Ryk and Gray were horrible lmao. Likely will come down to a head to head match between the two now.
  3. defeat 3-1. Big opportunity for points towards our World Ranking, and it wasn’t taken. Worst match of VNL for us… Serbia had a C squad in action, and were 1-5 before this match, and yet we still couldn’t win. They’re expected to send an even weaker lineup to week 3, so to all of my Dutch friends enjoy your 3-0 win. KVR and Gray were horrific today, while Maglio, White, and Murmann were the highlights. Edit: O’Reilly had an off night as well.
  4. 22.36 for Audrey Leduc in the women’s 200m! OLYMPIC QUOTA AND CANADIAN RECORD!!
  5. 4:02.65 for Lucia Stafford in the women’s 1500m. Continues with her strong stretch of running.
  6. Beating ourselves when there’s an Olympic ticket on the line. Just like the men’s team did when they lost to Belgium. Just yikes.
  7. 11.17 for Audrey Leduc in the women’s 100m at the Ed Moses Legends Meet! Not too bad.
  8. Ok, 2-1 down probably… … FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK.
  9. And blocked again.
  10. Canadian team lost their clutch.
  11. Van Ryk having herself a nightmare of a week.
  12. @CCB well we’re down 1-0, you’re right back into it
  13. Hate these commentators already. Where is the one from yesterday?
  14. How many tournaments has Shapo used PR for? Another question, is there a limit to how many athletes qualify through PR?
  15. I think he’ll make the roster, even with him not committing to the Canada Basketball, and his horrible season with the Golden State Warriors, but I feel like it’s much less of a guarantee than it was 9 months ago.
  16. Not really sure on the rules for walkovers in beach volleyball (it’s very much possible that you have to at least have a small injury), but this happens quite a lot during Challenges. If you win your first pool game, you automatically advance to the next round no matter what, and winning/losing your 2nd pool game had no impact on bracket seeding so many teams forfeit. I’ll do some research and report back.
  17. Squad for the final Olympic qualifier. Reece Wilson-Poynton Eric Peters Devaang Gupta https://www.instagram.com/p/C7o90YOtWbZ/?igsh=MWtvNjVxbGZnbXI2aw==
  18. team for Paris (3 athletes) https://www.instagram.com/p/C7o4Kx4Mpp9/?igsh=eGRjOXoyaGpvaGJx Shannon Westlake - Women’s 50m Rifle 3 Positions Ty Ikeda - Men’s 50m Rifle 3 Positions Michele Esercitato - Men’s 10m Air Pistol
  19. Olivia Wunsch with a new PB of 53.58 in the women’s 100m freestyle at the NSW All Schools Swimming Championships! @dullard
  20. Obviously He’s a better shooter than Ozer though, I’m glad he got the ticket to Paris.
