  1. Whatever. I've made my mind up on this egoist already.
  2. Deserved? Seriously? She's full of the entitlement shit that runs wild in the modern society. I hope she gets booed in Calgary for the rest of her life
  3. She had issue with ONE person and you're talking about bobsleigh world You don't have to defend her egoism so much Thankfully USA is not immune to verbal & mental harrasement so it doesn't really matter.
  4. Yet Todd Hays is actually American. So she left Canada because of an American to become an American citizen? I hope she struggles a lot under the new flag.
  5. Patriots are 8-0 and they play Ravens in Baltimore tomorrow. Should be a good game Meanwhile the league's most famous alcoholic Josh Gordon has been claimed off waivers by Seattle Seahawks.
  6. First time in history the World Cup winner has lost a group stage match (23-13 to New Zealand).
  7. Farrell got his clown suit on that play! That's some burst after 75 minutes of play!
  8. Kolbe jokes for another try! England are dead!
  9. Mapimpi was a massive play and Am scores a try!!!! 25-12!!!
  10. George Ford is off. Farrell misses a penalty. 18-9 for If don't score a try in the last 20 mins it's all over. They won't win this with kicks alone.
  11. 12-6 at half-time. This seems like another penalty-exclusive rugby WC final.
  12. They really put a 'San Francisco Warriors' logo in the new arena? Pressed much? Stephen Curry is out indefinitely with a broken hand so Warriors' playoff hopes are basically done IMO. They were like 7th best team in West even with Curry.
  13. Beto O'Rourke has pulled out of the US Presidential race. Guess he was way in over his head. Just 1% of support in Iowa polls. Kamala Harris is heading for the exit door next as she's fired some campaign staff too.
  14. [hide] WTA Finals - Knockout Round November 2nd - November 3rd, 2019 4 Athletes, Semifinals and Final Semifinals Date & Time (GMT +8) Athlete 1 T1 T2 Athlete 2 November 2nd 2019, h. TBD Ashleigh Barty 1 2 Karolina Pliskova November 2nd 2019, h. TBD Belinda Bencic 1 2 Elina Svitolina [/hide]
  15. Nike officially crowns Amanda Anisimova as the next Maria Sharapova https://nypost.com/2019/10/31/teenage-tennis-star-amanda-anisimova-inks-huge-nike-deal/
  16. Well, I hope his knees can somehow survive this punishment then. More teenagers suffer career-ending injuries than make it all the way into the World Cup.
  17. Zakopane hill complex is complete trash except for the Big Krokiew. The smaller hills are of no use in current shape. 12 year olds might train in Szczyrk or Wisla but not in Zakopane.
  18. Yet disgraced cheaters like Justin Gatlin will be able to compete in Tokyo 2020. There is no justice in this world and never will be. Only politics and money.
  19. It's more complicated than this. Sandy Koufax started 7 post-season games and allowed 6 runs. 6 runs in 7 games yet his win-loss record is 4-3. It's basically impossible in the modern day. Bob Gibson had 9 post-season starts with 8 complete games. He went 3-0 in 1967 World Series. Again, that's basically iimpossible to replicate anymore. Most post-season starters don't even get to 10 games in the modern era so if someone has a chance to start in three series clinchers that's a very low percentage achievement. You just don't get the big sample sizes anymore without a proper dynasty in MLB. Astros, Dodgers and Yankees are the three most reliable post-season picks which can qualify as modern day dynasties but basically in name only. SF Giants have dropped the ball lately after winning three WS in a span of six years.
  20. Baseball is ALL stats, buddy! Didn't you see the Brad Pitt movie?
  21. Here's the thing, starting pitchers are basically only playing like twice in Best of 7 series. Most of them don't even have a shot at two series clinching appearances. Baseball is all about the numbers these days anyway, launch angle & exit velocity must be the most meaningless stats ever. Not to mention the infamous Wins Above Replacement which compares the numbers to a player that doesn't even exist. This is just insane in all aspects.
  22. Nationals had the worst bullpen in the regular season yet still won WS. If anyone cares to look above the politics bullshit that's pretty much against the Moneyball numbers that have taken over baseball in the last 10 years. Scherzer missing G5 actually worked in their favor as Verlander has had a bad post-season all-around for the Astros. He lost the potential clincher vs Dodgers two years ago as well but Astros won it despite that. No such luck this time.
  23. I know it's pathetic. I was foolish enough to think this thread is about baseball but what I learned is liberals cheer for Nationals and Astros are the villains. America is a sad, sad place indeed.
  24. We live in a time of twitter mob rules and modern society going soft. It's called an entitlement era. It's anything but interesting. I didn't say about this before because I was naive enough to think that in a baseball thread we'd be talking about baseball not politics. Huh, was I wrong about that one. So much for interesting times we live in. So if Nats are the heroes now how does a domestic abuse in 2015 differ from domestic abuse in 2019? Is that a matter of principles too? So if Osuna is no longer on the Astros will they be allowed to be called heroes again? Because all these liberal bozos sure forgot about Chapman when cheering for the Nats. And it only took them four years to erase the memory. How convenient indeed. I'll never ever let politics dictate my sporting choices. Politics is pure evil masquerading under principle values. I'm just wating on another domestic/sex scandal that comes out of the Nationals bullpen and I'm very curious how will the liberals act then. Because if they swept the Chapman case under the carpet to fit their liberal purpose they can very much do this again. It's only a matter of time IMO. Osuna is just 24yo, relief pitchers are floating around the league like crazy. It wouldn't shock me if he ends up on Nationals roster one day within the next 10-12 years
