  1. Three-time college national champion coach Urban Meyer will be the next Jacksonville Jaguars head coach! Things got a little more interesting in Duval with Trevor Lawrence widely expected to be #1 pick in the draft. Meyer won two college titles with Florida Gators in the 00s so he should be loved by the Jax fans? Of course successful college coaches don't often find similar success in NFL. Just look at Nick Saban's failed tenure with the Dolphins. Also Pete Carroll found success with only his third NFL franchise. However Jaguars have had 10+ loss seasons in 9 of the previous 10 years so the only way is up!
  2. What's with Skottheim? I suppose this is more than just a calf strain suffered right at the very end of the Hochfilzen mass start?
  3. Keys said she's out already. I seriously doubt Australia allows someone who tested positive to fly into the country and quarantine here. I mean self-quarantine is for healthy athletes to begin with. French Open prevented false-positive players from taking part so there's no way Australia allows Sandgren to play IMO.
  4. Meanwhile Andy Murray tested positive for covid... as did Madison Keys. Magda Linette has apparently pulled out due to a knee injury. At this rate all the lucky losers that travelled to Australia will get a MD entrance. WTA LLs: Bonaventure (In already, could be for Yastremska though), Gasparyan, Schmiedlova, Buzarnescu, Tsurenko, Rakhimova. EDIT: Apparently Yastremska has flown to Australia today anyway. So Bonaventure is in for Linette and Gasparyan will probably get Keys' spot. It's official - Main Draw ceremony will be held on February 4th @thepharoah
  5. Kinga Zbylut 34th, Kamila Zuk 39th. It is what it is for Kocergina 47th with 9/10. That's a positive results for @Werloc ?
  6. 1. Eckhoff, 2. Wierer, 3. Hauser. This could be the eventual podium.
  7. Looks like Tandrevold collapsed on the course (fall?).
  8. Olsbu & H. Oeberg with one miss in the prone.
  9. Hammerschmidt won't get any more screen time than starting bib #1 at a German venue
  10. It still is. OQ period stretches from November 28th, 2020 to January 16th, 2022. As much as we hate it, the full Olympic line-ups won't be known until three weeks before the games. Top 3 nations in Olympic ranking will send 6 athletes. 4th-10th - five athletes, 11th-20th will be allowed to field a relay. For nations outside Top 20 - 12 individual wild cards based on performances in non-relay World Cup & IBU Cup races. I just checked on twitter with the best Polish biathlon journalist. He confirmed this is how the OQ works as of today.
  11. Well, Idk how good or bad she is tbh Shawna Pendry makes her IBU Cup as well. After finishing 12th at the Youth Olympics sprint maybe there is some hope beyond Amanda Lightfoot?
  12. Yeah, the IBU Cup quotas are raised after the Junior Cup cancellations. Poland can field six men & women each too (but we only send 5 men to Arber). Obviously everyone will focus on Stina Nilsson's performance
  13. Booking.com lists 59 hotels for Zwiesel alone I'd say there's enough place to fit all these athletes. I mean Zwiesel is closer to Arber than Hochfilzen is to Kitzbuehel?
  14. JTB starts knowing Lagreid hit 10/10 so there's no margin for error.
  15. Trump didn't hold any office before so what difference does it make? Then again Democrats will waste four years of Biden's tenure by blaming everything on Trump. Let's see how they struggle to cope with the covid pandemic now
  16. Yeah, Shiffrin didn't lose any time before the third split like Vlhova and Holdener.
  17. Liensberger with a power run! That could be the win?
  18. Tourists ski at day and drink at night. No need to install lights for a single World Cup night event

  20. These are from AO qualies AFAIK (given the KIA and AO Dubai logos in the background)
  21. Hah! And I thought an Egyptian person knows how Egyptian tennis players look like
  22. Even AO tournament site only has few of the seeded qualifiers with photos. https://ausopen.com/players#!156131 Unless you have someone specific in mind? Tennis.com.au has the Australian wild cards photos https://www.tennis.com.au/news/2021/01/10/draws-set-for-australian-open-2021-qualifying Kaja Juvan Katarzyna Kawa Katarina Zavatska Olga Govortsova
  23. No question about it, the liberals are winning the cultural war in the West. I'm gonna enjoy watching the purge of the Republicans in the next 4 years However even the liberals can get it totally wrong as evident by the Wikileaks fiasco. It was supposed to be a new Bible for the liberals and then Assange got exposed as a Russian mole I presume the in-fighting of Democrats moderates and progressives will allow Republicans to somehow avoid total extinction though.
