Messi has also played 24 matches in WC finals so far so he's set to beat Lothar Matthaus' record if he plays in the remaining two.

Persson 15/15 up to 2nd place.

Nobody will boycott the SOG because of Russia & Belarus ban IMO.
North Korea is so far adrift nobody really cares about them and their reasoning why they skip sport events anymore.

Michal Listkiewicz on Polish TV says Mateu Lahoz had an absolutely horrible match and he could talk 30 minutes about his mistakes

17 stand alone YC is a record for a single World Cup match. Netherlands vs Portugal in 2006 had 16 yellows & 4 red cards though which remains the most penalised match in WC history (all red cards were shown for a second yellow).

Sure, because Brazil has a way higher 'peak' than Croatia. As in, if Brazil really gets going, they can utterly destroy everyone, just like France. Croatia doesn't have that 'peak', but a team doesn't need to have that to be a big danger.
And come on, boring, not boring, whatever. If you reach the World Cup final, and the next time you're in the semi's after kicking Brazil out, you are very well capable of kicking Argentina and the Netherlands out as well, no question about it.
The gap between World Cups is too big to take any evidence from what happened four years earlier. If you did a poll among players I bet >80% would pick Croatia over Brazil. Because of the fixed draw there will always be speculation who is the better opponent looking ahead.

Yes, because underestimating opponents is totally not a thing.
Any player who feels like they're playing for a spot in the final when playing the quarter final is ignorant.
I have a feeling both Holland and Argentina would rather play Croatia than Brazil in SF

Biggest surprise of the WC?
Nope. Brazil played at walking pace, an absolute horrible match. Their arrogance was punished in the end.
Croatia has only beaten Canada in 90 mins and here they are in WC semi-final All because Lukaku couldn't score from two meters out...
Argentina vs Netherlands must feel like they will play for a place in the final.

Marquinhos hits the post and it's all over. Epic failure for the dancing boys.

Croatia scores... Brazil saved...

Hello! 1-1! Penalties incoming after all

And there is Neymar. Just cut with the dancing nonsense though...
