Yes. She’s the top ranked European and can’t be caught

Dubois still needs to win another fight of course

Yes, although she has the luxury of two chances now. Mind you this tournament isn't just about qualification but seedlings in Tokyo so winning at the first attempt is definitely the better option.

Quota for Ecuador https://www.archysport.com/2021/06/ecuador-with-domenica-azuero-and-erika-pachito-increases-to-29-those-classified-for-the-2020-olympic-games-other-sports-sports/. But... In the Olympic system document we can read that winning by walkover gives 0 points.. And now Ecuador will go via ranking :D

Is there an allocated european quota in men`s super heavyweight?

Highest ranked European athlet is Maksim Babanin :RUS but as Ivan Veriasov just qualified he is not eligible for the quota.

Next European in the ranking is Nelvie Tiafack:GERso he should get the quota, correct?

Bizzard. Slots were allocated so they will qualify via ranking (or changing category)?

So few ranking events in 2020 and 2021 so not enough people were able to overtake them in the rankings

    • How wonderful!   I met the national rowing (and beach rowing) coach of EST/LTU/LAT on the way to ice hockey one day, who's Canadian by the way. I also flew home on the same flight as JC Schoonmaker's mom and friends, so we chatted for a bit.
    • Yea I only used transit besides this Uber / bus to the airport and back. All the venues were at the end of the line, so it allowed you to speak with other fans/volunteers etc. I even met Corrine Stoddard's mom after the first session of short track on the way back, and told her to remember our conversation if she won a medal later in the Olympics. We know how that ended up...
    • I used public transit the entire time I was in Milan.   My first day was a doozy, because I had to two flights to reach Malpensa, and then the train into town was delayed, and then I got confused a station and boarded a tram instead of the metro, proceeded to travel in the wrong direction, got off, walked back to the station, found the metro, got off a station early, walked around a kilometer to my hotel, and checked in.   My colleagues mostly took cabs upon arrival, but I deduced to take the frugal approach. That said, I was a true public transit professional by the time I left Milan.   I actually enjoyed my rides to and from venues, because I'd just chat up fans and volunteers from different countries. It helped me learn more about the city too.
