There’s now scheduling information added to some of the TV channels - so FISU 1 has opening ceremony tonight then SuperG tomorrow, FISU2 has cross country & figure skating etc.

The women's Nordic combined tomorrow has a grand total of 6 competitors  (including 4 from Japan, two of which well-known World Cup athletes Kasai)

I almost would have missed this event, if i wasn't scrolling through the forum. Since when is this name change? Did the word "Universiade" sound too Russian for them..

They use the terms interchangeably, but local organizers seem to prefer “World University Games.” (Probably because it better defines the event.)
