Monzanator 4,218 Posted April 8, 2021 #87 Share Posted April 8, 2021 That is strange. I thought Ivory Coast would be seeded higher to avoid playing Nigeria so early. Zambia isn't even like Top 4 women's team in Africa unless I missed some wonder teenage superstar making things happen for them?

Much like Zimbabwe in 2016, they had a miracle run and qualified. They defeated Zimbabwe (on walkover), Botswana, Kenya on their way to the final, where they defeated Cameroon on the away goal rule. Earlier on, Botswana miraculously defeated South Africa (on penalties), while Kenya surprisingly eliminated Ghana after extra time. Basically, an outcome that is one in a million. dcro 10,210 Posted April 8, 2021 #89 Share Posted April 8, 2021 Apparently Rachael Nachula is an important part of that team. 51.39 runner at 400 m and Beijing 2008 Olympian. That must be a first. #banbestmen
