Maybe this is not over. I wonder what happens if FEI was to hasty in awarding the spot to Argentina?

 

In any case, Canada will be taking this to CAS...

If you discount Nicole's score then Canada finishes with 84.07 points (seventh place). The disaster of a first qualifier from Lisa Ann Carlsen would count as Canada would only have a team of three athletes so no scores would be dropped. The only way to save Canada's quota would be to argue that Walker shouldn't be disqualified.

Yeah, poor Lisa Carlsen didn't have the greatest championship comeback (first since Seoul 1988). Her score was the one you get for elimination in speed competition (worst finishing score + 20 penalties).

Piggy French dropped a bomb today by announcing that Quarrycrest Echo, a real stalwart of British eventing team, has been sold to Japan.

 

Deadline for horse transfer is January 15th. Horses that change nationality after that will not be eligible to compete in Tokyo.

FEI published the list of MER events for 2020.

 

Dressage

Eventing (to come)

Jumping

 

How nice, Brazilian federation remembered to organize no less than 3 dressage events this time! :p

:LUX Umbach can go screw himself, for all I care. 78% was absolutely ridiculous score for Ayache. Thank you for having a sense of justice :GER Dr. Evi Eisenhardt. 67%. Cool. :cheer:

      Interesting, for only 2 months i think i have seen some kind of coin from all of the big countries - Germany, Italy, Spain, Holland, France, Portugal, Belgium, Finland, Ireland and yes the 2 euro from Croatia. But some of them were the smaller ones, 10, 5, 2 cents.    Expectedly there aren't any from the smaller countries so far. Nothing from the Baltics, Cyprus, Slovenia, Malta, Andorra etc. But also a bit surprising i haven't seen any from Greece yet.    Don't know from what part of Italy are you, but it's safe to say that when summer hits there will be a lot of Bulgarians visiting Rome, so i'm sure they'll bring some of our coins to spread around.

      I choose to collect only coins in circulation (and I have also found coins in circulation that should not be on the market; you can find a bit of everything). From my experience, it takes 4-5 years for coins to reach southern Italy, so I have no idea how it will work in Bulgaria. Incidentally, I am curious to see when I will see my first Bulgarian coin. I have not yet seen a Croatian coin (introduced in 2023!).

      Yes, i saw that there are a lot of commemorative coins. But to get some of those, i would need to buy them, as i don't know how much of them are in circulation. And the chances of such making it to Bulgaria are rather slim.    Still, if i find some sports ones on a good price, maybe i will order a few.
