New Zealand will compete for the frist time in women's archery since 1992 and for the frist time ever New Zealand will have a team at Olympics.

Fun fact, thanks to the mixed team qualification, will compete in men's individual archery for the first time since 1980!   Their women on the other hand are very much Olympic regulars.

Why are you saying this now, did they confirm that the selection criteria have been met?

If Egypt wins mixed pair, :CHA qualify in men's, if :EGY loses, :NAM gets two quotas
