heywoodu 13,540 Posted April 30, 2021 #11 Share Posted April 30, 2021 Always....'interesting' to see this system in action every year. You play your godgiven talented ass off and are admired left and right as a fantastic talent, and your reward is being picked by the shittiest team in the league At least it's pretty damn cool to see the Jaguars going not only for Lawrence but also the awesome Travis Etienne. If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Monzanator 3,593 Posted April 30, 2021 #12 Share Posted April 30, 2021 Yes, if Travis Etienne becomes the next Alvin Kamara like projected then Jax offense will look explosive. And they have the luxury of AFC South being a tire fire right now. Texans are a mess, Titans are limited to Derrick Henry carrying them on his back and God knows if Carson Wentz ever recovers to lift the Colts. James Robinson was one of the better players on the team last year. Sure, it's a nice story for Etienne and Lawrence to stick together, but the Jaguars had more pressing needs. Although you're right, that division could be theirs for the taking sooner rather than later if Lawrence is the real deal. Monzanator 3,593 Posted June 6, 2021 #14 Share Posted June 6, 2021 Atlanta Falcons have traded WR Julio Jones to Tennessee Titans for picks. Falcons are in rebuild mode and 32yo Jones will be a high-profile mercenary for a playoff contender. He is a Top 5 WR of the past decade but trending down due to age & injuries. He can still make a difference on the field even if he's not gonna post 1,000 rec yds anymore.

Four months later and it looks like Jax will suck major ass again. OL is terrible based on preseason action and Etienne is basically out for the year with a foot injury. New England Patriots have cut QB Cam Newton today which means Mac Jones will be the starter.
Monzanator 3,593 Posted September 9, 2021 #18 Share Posted September 9, 2021 Regular season starts in 4,5 hours with Buccaneers vs Cowboys. Should be a straight-forward TB victory
Monzanator 3,593 Posted September 10, 2021 #19 Share Posted September 10, 2021 Buccaneers beat Cowboys 31-29. Some bad turnovers by the Tampa offense made the score closer than it should have been.
Monzanator 3,593 Posted September 14, 2021 #20 Share Posted September 14, 2021 Raiders beat Ravens 33-27 in OT on Monday Night Football! That was quite an upset. Just win, baby!
