Yeah, it's been pretty bad for Canada, I thought we may have had an advantage due to the location, but I imagine a lot of our riders are also based in Europe since that's where most of the high level competition happens.

Actually all of them mostly compete in North America. There is a competitive circuit there, with a lot of Europeans regularly coming as well, especially during winter months in Florida.

 

Jumping is in a different world to dressage and eventing, flying horses is an everyday occurance (mostly because there is so much more prize money).
