What are the chances of Jhilli and Jeremy qualifying..both are around 20 odd in Race to Tokyo ranking.

There can be only one lifter per nation per weight. So, no chance for Jhili as we would prefer Mirabai. Jeremy should qualify.

Jhili is no where near to mirabai and she looks nowhere to come close.

Jhilli competes in 45kg which isn't an Olympic weight class anyway. The qualification rules changed where a country can qualify maximum 1 lifter per class.

Jeremy although is in 22nd rank but is highest ranked Asian (rankings at the time of this post)

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
