 team was ranked 6th in Race to Tokyo. So, they along with , the second  team and  were unseeded. Group D also has 3 teams in top 10:  and . Group B has  and  alongside , all three are good. I think we have clear favourites only in Group C where I think  and  are much better than  and . What is different is our group doesn't have a weak team.

In Doubles, except for the Pan American, African and Oceania pairs, all of them are fairly competitive. But perhaps there should be 8 seeds instead of 4 to make all the groups fairly equal
